Oppo Find X10 global launch date set – series to fill OnePlus-shaped hole

Oppo’s new flagship phones are getting a global launch, and we now know exactly when.

We’ve known that the Oppo Find X10 and Oppo Find X10 Pro Max were coming to markets other than its native China since mid-September, but the company has now revealed exactly when that will be.

The phone will receive its own global launch event in Mallorca on 21 October – the exact date we predicted just over a week ago.

Oppo doesn’t have anything new to say on the global pricing or specifications for its new pride and joy. But with fellow BBK-owned brand OnePlus having exited the UK, Europe and North America, all signs point to it being a highly accomplished replacement.

What we already know about the Oppo Find X10 series

As you might expect, photography looks to be the main focus of Oppo’s next flagships.

This is going to be the first mainstream phone ever released with not one, not two, but three 200Mp cameras. All three of those cameras will support 4K 120fps and 8K 30fps video recording, too.

Oppo’s new LUMO True Image Engine promises more natural detail, colour and skin tones, while Open Gate Capture (essentially using the entire camera sensor) will enable flexible cropping and reframing.

Away from the camera, the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max will eschew the Qualcomm trend on Android flagships and deploy MediaTek’s 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro chip instead.

We didn’t have any trouble with the Dimensity 9500 used in last year’s Oppo Find X9 Pro – in fact, performance was downright impressive – so we have high hopes for the new variant.

The Find X10 Pro Max will also run on a 7150mAh silicon-carbon battery. That’s a tad smaller than the 7500mAh battery used n the Oppo Find X9 Pro, but a fraction larger than the 7050mAh cell used in the Oppo Find X9 Ultra.

Basically, this thing is almost certain to be gunning for a full two days of usage between charges.

There’ll also be a regular Oppo Find X10 model to consider, which will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 9600M chip and a 7150mAh battery.

Black Friday-proof pre-order deals

Alongside this global launch news comes word of a tempting pre-order deal.

Sign up for either phone today and pay a £49 / €49 deposit, and you’ll get £150 off the price of the Oppo Find X10 or £200 off the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max.

You’ll also get to select a free gift: a Find X10 Series Hasselblad Teleconverter Kit, an Oppo Watch X3 or an Oppo Pad 5 Wi-Fi.

What’s more, Oppo promises to refund the difference should either of these phones drop in price throughout the rest of 2026. No need to be spooked by the spectre of Black Friday, in other words.
