Samsung Galaxy S26 FE gets first £200 price cut on Amazon UK

29% off

New Galaxy S26 FE drops to lowest-ever price on Amazon UK

Just £499, down from £699

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is a mid-range Android smartphone that combines a large AMOLED display, a triple camera system and Samsung’s Galaxy AI features. It also offers a relatively slim design, water resistance and long-term software support, making it an option worth considering if you want a Samsung phone without paying flagship prices.

The new Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is now available for £499 on Amazon UK, down from its £699 recommended retail price. That saves you £200 (29% off). However, the lowest price applies specifically to the Pistachio green version. Other colours are also discounted but currently cost £549.

The Galaxy S26 FE officially went on sale in early September and had remained at its full £699 RRP until now. This is its first significant price drop. The discount also makes the phone considerably more interesting than it was at launch. For comparison, its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 FE, currently costs £442 on Amazon UK, just £57 less.

Unfortunately, there is no comparable deal on Amazon US, where the smartphone is listed for $679.99.

What the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE has to offer

The Galaxy S26 FE uses Samsung’s Exynos 2500 deca-core processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Samsung has also equipped the smartphone with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. It offers Full HD+ resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for scrolling, watching videos and playing games. The slim design measures just 7.4mm thick, while the phone weighs 193g. It also carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

The rear camera system has a 50Mp main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 12Mp ultra-wide camera and an 8Mp telephoto camera. For selfies and video calls, you get a 12Mp front-facing camera.

The battery has a capacity of 4,900mAh. Samsung quotes up to 29 hours of video playback, although actual battery life will depend on how you use the phone. When you need to recharge, the S26 FE supports 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.

Connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC. The smartphone also supports dual SIM, including combinations of physical Nano-SIM and eSIM, as well as dual eSIM. Other useful features include Samsung DeX, stereo speakers and a fingerprint sensor.

Samsung lists security updates through 30 September 2033, giving the phone a lengthy support period.

Why this offer is worth it

The Galaxy S26 FE’s biggest problem at launch was its £699 price. In our Samsung Galaxy S26 FE review, we described it as a decent upper-mid-range smartphone with good software features, a capable screen and speakers, cameras that perform well in good lighting and an excellent software support commitment.

However, we also pointed out that the S26 FE offers barely any improvements over the Galaxy S25 FE, despite its higher launch price. The downgraded USB port was another disappointment. Our verdict was that Samsung had not done enough to justify the original price, particularly when competing smartphones offered more for similar money.

At £499, the situation looks considerably better. You still don’t get a major generational upgrade, but the £200 saving makes the phone a more reasonable proposition. It also costs only £57 more than the Galaxy S25 FE, which currently sells for £442 on Amazon. If you specifically want a newer Samsung device with a longer remaining support period, that relatively small difference could make the S26 FE worth considering.

Customer feedback on Amazon is generally positive. Buyers praise the overall quality, battery life, storage capacity and camera performance. One customer who switched from a Samsung flagship particularly appreciated the simpler software experience and fewer unwanted apps.
