Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 on Sale at Amazon.com
Just $1,349.98, down from $1,999 list price
Mobile phones with foldable displays offer a practical alternative to carrying both a phone and a tablet. You can use them like conventional smartphones when folded, then open them up for a larger screen when watching videos, playing games or working with multiple apps.
The 256GB Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 in Mint is currently available for just $1,349.98 at Amazon.com, down from its $1,999 list price. That saves you $649.02 (33% off). It’s also the lowest price so far: the phone was still selling for $1,499.99 until mid-September, before dropping to $1,399.99 more recently.
Amazon is offering this price on a limited number of units, and 13% of the available allocation has already been claimed. If you’re considering the deal, the current price may not remain available indefinitely.

What the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 has to offer
The Galaxy Z Fold7 is designed to combine the everyday convenience of a conventional smartphone with the larger display of a tablet. Its expanded cover display makes the folded phone feel more like a traditional phone, while the slim design and lighter weight make it easier to handle than you might expect from a device of this size.
Unfold the phone and you get an 8-inch display that gives you more room for watching films, playing games and working on the move. Samsung says you can view up to three windows simultaneously, which can be useful if you want to multitask without constantly switching between apps.
Samsung has equipped the Z Fold7 with a 200Mp main camera and its ProVisual Engine, designed to capture detailed photos. You can also use Google Gemini for AI assistance, including sharing your screen or pointing your camera at something to get additional information.
The phone uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor. This provides the processing power for everyday apps, streaming, photo editing and social media, as well as more demanding tasks. The device also supports 5G mobile connectivity and comes unlocked, so you aren’t tied to a specific wireless carrier.
Samsung has also focused on durability, with an Armor Aluminum frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 display protection. The phone runs Android and includes AI features intended to help with everyday tasks, while the cover screen lets you check daily briefings without unfolding the device.
The battery should keep up with busy days, but the Z Fold7 doesn’t introduce major improvements to battery capacity or charging speeds compared with its predecessor. There’s also no S Pen support, which may disappoint users who want to take handwritten notes or draw directly on the large screen.
Why this offer is worth it
At $1,349.98, the Galaxy Z Fold7 costs $649.02 less than its $1,999 list price. It also undercuts its previous prices of $1,499.99 and $1,399.99, making this the most attractive price so far on Amazon. However, the discount applies to a limited allocation of stock, and 13% has already been claimed.
Our own review at Tech Advisor found plenty to like about the phone. We praised its exceptionally slim and lightweight design, upgraded cameras, less noticeable display crease and excellent software. The Z Fold7 feels much more natural to use as a conventional smartphone when folded, while the unfolded display offers a spacious, tablet-like experience. We also found that the faster chip and Samsung’s AI tools make it well suited to productivity and content creation.
There are some drawbacks, though. Sustained performance can suffer during intensive gaming, and battery capacity and charging speeds remain areas where Samsung could do better. The lack of S Pen support is another limitation for users who want to write or draw on the large screen.
Amazon customers have also shared positive impressions. Recent reviewers praise the phone’s speed, light weight and large display, with one describing it as an excellent upgrade from the Galaxy Z Fold4. Another particularly likes using the unfolded screen for games and media.
