What to Know About oppo Find X10 Pro Max global launch is a statement of intent
Oppo has announced that its upcoming flagship phone, the Find X10 Pro Max, will get a global launch.
While the firm has also announced that the device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, I’d wager that’s not the most interesting part of the news.
Sure, it’s a shame that OnePlus has pulled out of the US, UK and European markets, but Oppo – the ‘Never Settle’ brand’s parent company – is very much the replacement. This early news of the Pro Max going global is a line in the sand and something of a battle cry, too.
This is Oppo’s first ‘Pro Max’ model for the flagship Find series and that, of course, matches the recently announced iPhone 18 Pro Max. Oppo wants to be taken seriously here, considered as a rival to Apple and not just the Ultras from the likes of Samsung.
While we got the Find X9 series here in the UK late in 2025, followed by the incredible Find X9 Ultra (below) this year, the US market was left out, much like it is for most Chinese brands.

Whether this will change with the Find X10 series is unclear, as Oppo has only said it will launch in “international markets” so far. It seems unlikely, though I’d like to be wrong, as it’s such a difficult market to crack for a brand like Oppo.
Still, it’s looking highly probable for the UK and Europe, where I expect at least two Find X10 models will go on sale: the Pro Max and the regular 10, with the “entry-level flagship imaging device” 10 E more of a question mark.
It’s worth noting that there won’t be a follow-up to the X9 Ultra (and rival brands may also pull back on similarly high-end photography-focused camera phones) or the X9 Pro. The Find X10 Pro Max will be the new top-of-the-line model.
Still, the Pro Max is set to be no slouch in the camera department, rumoured to come with no less than three 200Mp rear cameras. It would be the first phone to do so, but whether it has optional accessories like the X9 Ultra’s Earth Explorer Kit is another question.
Going back to the MediaTek Dimensity 9600, it’s built on a 2nm process, which should bring with it improved battery life. There are plenty of other performance promises, too.

Oppo
Oppo says it offers a whopping “61% improvement in CPU multi-core energy efficiency, providing a stronger foundation for sustained flagship performance and increasingly demanded on-device AI workloads”.
It’s also reportedly cheaper than fitting the phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon (its new flagship model is expected to be unveiled next week), so with rising build costs, this could help Oppo price the Find X10 Pro Max competitively. Even Apple raised iPhone prices this year.
We’ll find out for sure when Oppo officially launches the Find X10 series globally in October, though details including core specs will be available from the Chinese launch on 22 September.
