The Motoring Club Presents: Cold Start—January 25 in San Francisco, California: A Practical Look
The team over at Motoring Coffee and The Motoring Club will host their first Bay Area event of the year: Cold Start, on Sunday, January 25, from 8:00am to 11:00am. BaT is sponsoring the morning’s gathering, which will be held at Marina Middle School, and several of our staffers will be on hand.
Motoring Coffee is the public-facing coffee and retail shop associated with The Motoring Club. Since late 2024, they’ve also hosted Cold Start—a recurring event to bring enthusiasts together beyond the confines of their San Francisco shop. Says the organizer: “This is a public event open to all who want to spectate or bring their car, truck, or bike. All makes and models are welcome.”
Limited-edition merch will be available while supplies last. The Motoring Coffee crew will be serving up espresso and drip coffee for those running a little chilly on Sunday morning—just look out for their Kei fire truck!
Last year’s finale drew in over 200 cars and a large crowd to complement them, and we think their first event of 2026 will be even better! If you plan on bringing a vehicle, please fill out this form for a chance at winning special merch prizes.
The display area can be accessed via the school’s parking lot entrance on Bay Street. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. We hope to see you Sunday morning!
