A Look at bring a Trailer and Pennzoil Present: US2K—Our Newest Success Story Video

To date, our long-running Success Stories video series has focused on couples and individuals—but we’re expanding the circle. Much of the real value of this hobby lies in the community—the people with whom we share common interests and passions. Friendships forged under an open hood often become much deeper bonds.

That’s the case with Lauren (@s2kbby on Instagram) and the extended family of Honda S2000 fanatics that assembled around her after this Silverstone Metallic AP1 landed on her driveway back in 2020. Shortly thereafter, an impromptu photo shoot quickly blossomed into a large and supportive community of S2K owners of all ages and backgrounds. With their help and encouragement she’s learning to wrench on her car and push its limits (on the track, of course). It was a blast getting to know Lauren and her tight-knit crew of Honda-obsessed mentors, friends, and enablers. We’re honored that they brought us into their world to capture this video.

We couldn’t make these videos without our partners at Pennzoil, who support our efforts as part of their Long May We Drive campaign. This is the most recent of several videos shot and directed by Garrett and Sean at Baby Bird Films, and we are always impressed by their storytelling skills and filmmaking craft.
