BaT Community!
That was quite a flurry of activity to finish off 2025. We’re proud, and thankful, to say that 2025 represented another in a long string of great years for BaT Auctions, and the ever-expanding BaT Community of buyers, sellers, experts, Local Partners, watchers, commenters, and crazies are what continues to make it happen. As always, our goal is to offer as many people as possible the opportunity to transact in the most transparent, fair, cost-effective, and positive way possible, while optimizing for the integrity and truthfulness that leads to the best buyer and seller outcomes. That is what drives everything we do, and the BaT Team is excited to bring this to even more enthusiasts in 2026!
We’re back with the year’s first update to our all-conquering library of makes and models. We’re excited to announce expanded services for BaT sellers and buyers in the UK! We’re no stranger to the British Isles, having listed more than 350 auctions in the region to date. The UK is known for its passionate, knowledgeable collector car community and, of course, for its extraordinary depth of automotive heritage. We’ve watched closely as British sellers and buyers have organically found their way onto BaT, compelled by the variety, vibrant discussion, and market-setting results to be found here. We have worked to optimize the BaT experience for our UK audience with features such as currency conversion, and we’re excited to offer our transparent and uniquely effective auction model to UK buyers and sellers.
April’s showers brought us a huge, blooming field of updates to the ever-expanding collection of BaT make and model pages. In 2023, we celebrated the 100,000th Bring a Trailer auction after nine years of selling cars. A mere three years later, that number has doubled and then some—as of today, it stands at 250,000 and counting! The online auction landscape has exploded over the last 12 years and continues to grow and change. Through all of that, we can attribute the ongoing, linear success of BaT to “our people.” This site continues to thrive thanks to all of you out there in the BaT community—sellers, bidders, commenters, and staff—coming together every day to labor and wonder over the wheeled and geared contraptions that have so captured our imaginations.
We’re just past the sun’s apex here in the Northern hemisphere and have been seeing record-breaking auction volume, peaking at more than 1,200 live auctions on the site in the last few weeks. And of course, we’ve been busy adding updates to the ever-expanding collection of BaT make and model pages.
