Earlier this week, we hit a new record for volume with 1,248 live auctions on the site. That’s great for business, but a little too much for anyone trying to keep up with every single BaT listing of note. Much like the Emancipation Proclamation itself, the observance of Juneteenth has taken some time to catch on. We here at BaT have been observing the holiday for the past several years, but we got our work done early so as not to deprive you of this Weekly Weird and Wonderful feature. Today we’ve got a few bikes and boats, some rarefied fiberglass bodywork, a couple firsts, and an interesting last, among other things.

Two weeks back we hit a new record for site volume, and the milestones just keep coming as we hit the 250,000 auction mark this week. We’re pinching ourselves over here at BaT HQ, and we are ever grateful that we’ve had the best online community in the world alongside us for this incredible journey. For much of the North American population, today is a day to stay inside if you can, lest one be exposed to excessive smoke, tainted lettuce, and other modern perils. To keep you from going stir-crazy, we have assembled for your viewing pleasure a curated list of the most interesting and noteworthy vehicles currently on BaT. This week’s installment contains two military vehicles, three race bikes, two fantastic tribute cars, and the coolest woodie wagon you’ve ever seen.
