Welcome to the Weekly Weird and Wonderful, wherein we, your faithful BaT editorial staff, present a curated list of cool, unusual, interesting, or otherwise noteworthy vehicles currently live on BaT. This is of course but a small fraction of the ~1,000 listings that await you over on our live auctions page, so once you’ve finished reading, feel free to make your way over there and spend the rest of your weekend clicking away.
Welcome to the Weekly Weird and Wonderful, our list of the 10 most notable vehicles to appear on BaT this week in our estimation (along with a few more that we couldn’t bring ourselves to exclude). We are up over 1,000 auctions at the moment, so the vehicles below are just a few dishes out of the all-you-can-eat buffet that is our live auctions page, where you can gorge yourself on even more automotive content once you’re done here.
Welcome to the Weekly Weird and Wonderful, a curated list of the most interesting and unusual vehicles on BaT this week. For the sake of brevity, we can only feature a handful—there are plenty of chips left in the bag, i.e. over 1,000 other auctions currently live on the site. So if you’re still hungry when you finish this feature, head on over to our live auctions page for even more automotive fun.
You won’t see any Ford Mustangs in this week’s list, but today is the 62nd birthday of the original pony car, and we’re not going to let that pass without noting it. What you will see below is a curated collection of the most interesting and unique vehicles featured on BaT in the last seven days. These certainly aren’t the only notable auctions on our site. In fact, there were many, many vehicles that we weren’t able to exclude from our piece without experiencing some serious mental anguish. But you can still find them among the ~1,100 cars currently on our live auctions page.
We’re bringing you this week’s post with an important caveat: it’s very heavy on the weird (that’s good news). Of the 1,100 auctions live on the site this week, the collection below included many that were so irresistibly strange that we had to show them off, even at the expense of things like a FABCAR Porsche 935 and a BOSS 429-powered Pantera. That’s just a taste of the goodness that awaits you over on our Live Auctions page. But before you head there, have a look at the superlatively odd batch of vehicles that make up this edition of the Weekly Weird and Wonderful!
It’s time for the Weekly Weird and Wonderful—our collection featuring some of the most interesting and unique vehicles featured on BaT in the last seven days. These certainly aren’t the only notable auctions on our site. In fact, there were oh-so-many vehicles that we couldn’t include—you know there is some crazy stuff on the site when a mobile recording studio and two cars with Jim Farley ownership history get left on the cutting room floor. Not to worry, you can still find those and more among the ~1,100 cars currently on our live auctions page.

This list is by no means comprehensive, and there is plenty more to explore over on our live auctions page, which just topped 1,200 listings for the first time in 2026.
