Route 66 BaT Gathering at the Orpheum Theater in Flagstaff, Arizona: A Practical Look
We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be hosting a Bring a Trailer Gathering in conjunction with a screening of the new documentary film Route 66: The Main Street of America at the historic Orpheum Theater in Flagstaff, Arizona, on Saturday, October 10! The Gathering will kick off at 3:00pm, and the theater doors open for the screening at 6:00pm—it’s shaping up to be a memorable time!
Commissioned in November 1926, the historic Route 66—famously enshrined in everything from song to novel—will be turning 100 this year, and to celebrate, award-winning filmmaker John Paget created the feature-length documentary as a “centennial portrait of enduring towns and everyday heroes along America’s legendary highway.” As part of the celebration, the film will be shown across the eight states originally traversed by Route 66.
The Gathering will be hosted across the street from The Orpheum Theater. We’ll have the BaT tent filled with friendly leadership and staffers, all of whom will be ready to greet you with complimentary refreshments and swag while supplies last.
If you’d like to display a car you purchased on BaT (or another interesting or special vehicle) with us, please let us know by filling out this interest form. Space is limited, with no more than 75 spots available. We’ll prioritize parking spots for vehicles bought on BaT, but will also host as many other compelling cars, trucks, and motorcycles as space allows! Once you’ve filled out the form, we’ll be in touch to let you know if we can accommodate you and your vehicle. If accepted, we’ll also provide two tickets to the film’s screening, one for you and one for a guest.
If you haven’t had a chance to attend a BaT event yet, each one is a great opportunity for everyone from the BaT community—buyers, sellers, and commenters alike—to come together. Attendees get to meet other users in person, share stories, and mingle among a fantastic selection of interesting automobiles.
