All three of Nio Inc’s brands will share the same swap network once fifth-gen sites go live.
The new station is compatible with all three brands — Nio, Onvo and Firefly — with the compact Firefly joining the swap network for the first time.
The new stations support wheelbases of up to 3.5 meters, allowing the Nio, Onvo and Firefly brands to share the network.
BYD’s flash charging network will reach 10,000 stations with the completion of a new site in Shenzhen, doubling from early April.
BYD doubled its flash charging network in less than 5 months, but must still add about 80 stations a day on average to meet its full-year target.
