Black Swimwear Is The New Must

black swimwear new

If you thought “orange is the new black” just refers to outfits, think again. It may be the name of one of the most popular series of the moment, but orange is not the must colour for the season. ELLE UK has just confirmed it: black is the new black. Indeed, this summer it is all about what ELLE names “The Little Black Swimsuit” (LBS). Do you want to take some inspiration from ELLE’s black swimwear article? Here are their main points: Mesh swimsuits that stick to the body enhancing your curves Unusual straps: strapless or irregular shoulder straps Cut-outs, for the wildest outfits Ideal to be combined with silver and gold accessories Some amazing LBS we love! Celebrities love the Little Black Swimsuit look as well There is no doubt celebrities have already caught the trend, as seen from some of Instagram’s biggest celebrities. Christina Milian has shared pictures of herself wearing two black swimsuits and so has Kim Kardashian, who is featuring in her own Instagram black bikinis and swimsuits all the time. The Longer Length Swimsuits Tall Ladies Swear By

longer length swimsuits

Tall ladies, especially women over 6 feet, have always struggled to find swimwear that feels comfortable enough for their long torso. Many tall ladies had to choose between wearing a larger size of swimwear to fit their long torso or other options, such as a wearing a tankini or a bikini, instead. With swimsuits becoming more and more popular, even tall girls struggled the find them. How should longer length swimsuits fit? We have been working trying to find tall swimwear long-enough in the torso, to be able to wear beautifully printed swimsuits no matter your height. Swimsuits for tall women don’t have to be boring or plain. When taller women are forced to wear too short swimsuits, they feel too stretched. Consequently, it often feels like your straps are pulling you down in the shoulders. It may also feel too constrictive in the leg area. What about the cups? When you are tall and you don’t wear a proper tall swimsuit, you often find that underwired cups don’t stay where they’re supposed to be, but rather a couple of inches under your bust. So, many tall ladies have no other option than buying non-wired swimsuits. That or buying a size bigger, which isn’t always a valid option, as your larger swimsuit can still feel too big for you and, yet, too short. If you are looking for good-fitting swimsuits for tall ladies, look no more! We are bringing you some amazing styles. Many of our customers at UK Swimwear have already tried them and have passed on the positive feedback. Seaspray has the most flattering long length swimsuits for ladies Seaspray is the only brand of luxury swimwear in the UK that has a specific tall range. We have only stocked it for a few months, but it seems clear that Seaspray’s tall swimsuit range is a total success. Seaspray tall swimsuits are about 3 inches or 5cm longer than any other regular swimsuits they manufacture. Believe it or not, this little improvement makes a huge difference, providing greater comfort and an enhanced fitting. What if I want to buy tall swimsuits for curvy women? No problem. Seaspray tall swimsuits are available in a range of sizes, from as little as UK 10 to UK 24. Furthermore, all these longer torso styles have tummy control, which means that they smooth your waist and hips and draw your silhouette. According to the positive reviews our female customers have shared with us, you won’t feel any discomfort while wearing Seaspray tummy-control swimsuits. We, at UK Swimwear, aren’t the only people who believe Seaspray is the best brand of swimwear for taller ladies. Actress Emma Thompson (1.73m / 5’8″ height) purchased a Seaspray swimsuit before heading away on holidays. Emma felt this Seaspray tall swimsuit was so good that she wrote a thank-you note to Seaspray. So sweet! Seaspray swimsuits are the favourites of some fashion magazines: Hello, Woman&Home, Now, Woman, The Sunday Times Style, Sunday Express, etc. Other swimwear brands you can give a try if you are tall, besides Seaspray: Maryan Mehlhorn and Watercult: Designed in Germany, they are slightly longer in the torso than other European brands. Speedo: The best-known brand of swimming costumes also cares for the taller girls and ladies, with really stretchy styles. Have you tried any other brand of longer length swimsuits you have loved in the past? Have you already given a try to Seaspray? Leave a comment with your thoughts. PIN ME FOR LATER

Can You Wear A Swimsuit As A Bodysuit?

can you wear

The first time we heard that you could wear a swimsuit as a bodysuit, our reaction was… ‘Wait! What?’. How come we had never thought of wearing a one-piece swimsuit as bodywear before? It only took us a few seconds to realise what a great idea this was. So, now we have decided to share with you our little research on the best swimsuits to wear as a bodysuit. Who started the trend? Who first wore a swimsuit as a bodysuit? We aren’t sure who was the first person we show rocking a swimsuit and regular clothes. Surely it must have been a celebrity or a fashion blogger! One of the bloggers we worked with in the past, Manchester-based fashion blogger Laura Kate Lucas, wore this amazing black swimsuit in the picture above with denim shorts and strapped sandals in this post of 2017. We remember thinking we could totally wear that outfit outside, in the street. A zipped one-piece swimsuit could easily pass for one of the Wolford Jamaika bodysuits, right? What celebrities wore it? Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, Penelope Cruz, Kourtney Kardashian… more and more celebrities have joined the trend of wearing their favourite swimsuit as a bodysuit. Most celebrities have gone for plain swimsuits, mainly black swimsuits, but it doesn’t mean that you cannot get creative. For instance, Gigi Hadid was spotted by PopSugar wearing a nautical-inspired swimsuit. Why should I try this fashion trend? You should definitely embrace the trend and give swimsuits a try! What’s to lose? First of all, trying new styles is always a good idea. At the same time, this is a great idea to recycle your designer swimsuit and give it a second life as a bodysuit. If you invested in one our the Gottex Couture swimsuits in the past, you have no excuses! Any of these little beauties would make a perfect swimsuit to wear as a bodysuit, don’t you think? A black swimsuit… and what else? Black swimsuits are the most obvious choices, as well as plain coloured swimsuits, being Red, White or Navy some popular choices, according to our own particular research. However, there are many other styles you can try out. Animal prints, bright neon and mesh/panelled swimsuits are some of our personal recommendations if you want to get creative here. Or, maybe, you can go for a naughtier look, with a good plunge neckline or swimsuits with cut-outs. There are infinite possibilities. However, the end of one season is the beginning of another one. And this season Gottex has some new lovely floral prints to welcome Summer in style. Which of these two floral and leaf prints do you like the most? And, if you also lose it for a leaf print, rather than a floral one, check out the stunning leaf print in the Gottex Free Sport Jungle Fever Bikini. The right print can drive attention to the ‘right’ places Have you also noticed how the bold floral motif seems to wrap around the torso of the model above this text? Somehow, this lovely Seaspray swimsuit manages to drive the attention to the bust area. Is it only us who find it super flattering? Surely we aren’t the only ones who appreciate this ‘contouring’ effect. The tiny petal details on the lower right are delicate and elegant, too, and the perfect contrast to the larger floral motif.
