TRACY Shaw has shared an update amid her cancer battle, saying how lately she’s been feeling ‘blessed’.
The Coronation Street star took to Instagram yesterday to post a video after her latest operation, chatting with her fans while wearing a funny dinosaur costume.

Addressing the camera, the star said: “Good morning everyone. It’s done!!!
“The tumours are out, they’re gone! They’re gone! They’re gone, they’re gone, they’re gone!
“I’m feeling great, it all went well. I’m just popping on to say thank you. Thank you so much for all your messages and all your love.
“Greatly received and really helped me through it all. Everything went really well and I’m going to fill you in on all the descriptions.

“Obviously, you know, it’s looking a bit gory down there but I can’t wait to tell you what they did.”
Tracy then took a moment to thank the staff involved in her operation, adding: “I just want to take a moment to thank every single person that worked in the hospital yesterday, every single person.
“The surgeons were amazing, I ended up having three surgeons and all the nurses, all the staff, everybody.
“And I had the best cup of tea and slice of toast when I came around out of theatre. […] So have a wonderful Saturday!”
Tracy penned alongside the video: “Happy Saturday. Feeling bless. Grateful Joy.”
Tracy shared back in April that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer, leaving soap fans shocked.
Ever since the star has been documenting the ups and downs of her health battle online.
She has shared tears, admitting she “can’t go through this” anymore, as well as her grateful moments.
Tracy played the role of Maxine Peacock on Coronation Street from 1995 up until 2003.
