A CELEBRITY Traitors star ruined his chance of winning the show in the dying moments of tonight’s finale.
Traitors fans have been desperately waiting to see if the remaining Faithfuls could triumph over the last two Traitors, King Kenny and Maya Jama.

In the end, Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian ‘Bash’ Croft secured the victory for the Faithfuls.
But the charity prize pot could have been split three ways, if fellow Faithful James Blunt had not shot himself in the foot in the final moments.
All three men were Faithfuls, having banished Maya then Kenny, as well as losing remaining Faithful Leigh-Anne Pinnock along the way.
They could have chosen to end the game then and there, but James – who has admitted to being terrible with his theories throughout the series – felt there could be another Traitor remaining, and pushed for another round of voting.

Unfortunately, his determination to vote again actually put him in the line of fire, with Romesh and Bash both writing his name down and sending him home empty-handed.
Traitors viewers couldn’t believe it, with one writing on X: “They had all put their guns down after the Mexican standoff then James Blunt picked his back up and shot himself.”
Another added: “James Blunt really shot himself in the foot.”
A third tweeted: “James I’m so annoyed at you and on your behalf.”
Meanwhile a fourth shared: “James Blunt just had to be wrong one more time didn’t he. Poetic. #CelebrityTraitors So glad for Romesh!”
At the very start of the episode, it was revealed Maya and Kenny had decided to kill Michael Sheen, following his intense grilling of Maya and catching fellow Traitor James Acaster during Thursday night’s round table.
However, it was a risky strategy that didn’t pay off for the Love Island host, with more suspicion growing around her and leading to her subsequent banishment.
Little Mix‘s Leigh-Anne was also voted off after a series of blunders that made the Faithful’s grow increasingly suspicious of her.
