CELEBRITY Traitors winners have been revealed as Romesh Ranganathan and Sebastian ‘Bash’ Croft come out victorious.

After countless tense roundtables, comedian and TV presenter Romesh and Heartstopper actor Bash managed to make it all the way to the final.

Beautiful hitmaker James Blunt had also made it to the final three but in a tragic twist of fate, he was banished by his own Faithfuls.

Traitors Maya Jama and King Kenny fell at the last hurdle, after murdering Michael Sheen at the start of the episode came back to bite them on the bum.

Unable to convince her fellow Faithfuls that she was one of them, the group turned on her and eliminated the Love Island host from the game.

Little Mix‘s Leigh-Anne Pinnock was also voted off after a series of blunders that made the Faithful’s grow increasingly suspicious of her, particularly her voting for Romesh like Maya at the final round table.

Kenny was the closest to the Traitors final but things went to deadlock between him and James Blunt, but after discussing it, Romesh and Bash decided to vote for the YouTuber and keep James, meaning three Faithfuls – James, Bash and Romesh had all made it to the final firepit.

But it was here that James came unstuck, after insisting on voting again, prompting Bash and Romesh to vote him off, and miss out on a share of the cash prize for his charity.

Fans have taken to social media to share their delight as the Faithfuls finally managed to catch the Traitors and win the prize for their charity.

Yesterday, viewers were left shocked as James Acaster outed himself as a Traitors during the roundtable.

The Sun revealed that his admission left him so distraught filming was halted.

Welfare staff checked on the comic before the Round Table vote.

The BBC One episode was edited so the Round Table session looked continuous, leaving out the bits when Acaster was at his most upset.

He had struggled with being a Traitor, alongside Maya Jama and later King Kenny, but had managed to avoid suspicion.

Viewers watching the penultimate show of the series saw him get accused at the Round Table of being one of the “murderers”.

Acaster then immediately admitted he was — just like banished Traitor Richard E Grant did at the start of the series — in a shock twist which appeared to enrage Maya.

The rest of the stars then voted to banish him before he gave an emotional farewell.

An insider said: “What you don’t see is the moment when James got upset as he crumbled when he could see he was about to be caught.

“Both the producers and the other celebrities could see how he was struggling with the pressure of keeping his true identity secret and he reached some kind of breaking point when he was confronted.

“That saw the team feel compelled to intervene, and filming was brought to a halt as they assessed the situation.

“They spoke to both James and the rest of the stars and didn’t allow filming to resume until they were sure everyone was in a fit state.

“But very little was caught on camera, and what little that was recorded did not feature in the final edit.”
