Lala Rukh predicts Rajab Butt’s second marriage soon

Rajab Butt is once again at the centre of social media attention after astrologer Lala Rukh made a surprising prediction about his personal life. The popular YouTuber is among Pakistan’s most followed digital creators and frequently makes headlines because of his controversies, public disputes and ongoing marital issues. Rajab has been facing considerable speculation surrounding his relationship with his wife, Emaan Fatima. Although the couple are still legally married, questions about their relationship and the possibility of a second marriage have continued to circulate online. The subject has now gained renewed attention following a prediction made by Lala Rukh. The astrologer recently shared a series of predictions in which she reportedly claimed that Rajab Butt could have a future connection with the Sistrology family. Her comments quickly caught the attention of social media users because of the unexpected nature of the prediction. Sistrology is a well-known YouTube family made up of sisters who have built a strong following through their lifestyle and family-oriented vlogs. Over the years, the sisters have become familiar faces within Pakistan’s digital creator community and have collaborated or appeared alongside several prominent influencers. The group is also known to have close connections with other popular social media personalities, including Ducky Bhai and Aroob Jatoi. Their frequent appearances with major names from Pakistan’s influencer community have helped them maintain a strong presence on social media. According to Lala Rukh’s latest prediction, there could be a union between the Rajab Butt family and the Sistrology family. She reportedly suggested that Rajab’s second marriage could take place within the Sistrology family, sparking widespread curiosity among viewers. The prediction is particularly notable because Lala Rukh had previously made claims about Rajab’s marriage to Emaan Fatima. She had reportedly predicted that the couple would eventually separate, while discussions surrounding their relationship have since moved towards legal proceedings. Following the latest prediction, social media users were quick to share their reactions. Many appeared surprised by the possibility, while others questioned whether the astrologer’s prediction would eventually prove accurate. One social media user commented that the Sistrology sisters “have high standards,” while another responded with the phrase “Dhur Fitay Moo.” Others took a more neutral approach and suggested waiting to see whether the prediction actually comes true. For now, Lala Rukh’s claim remains only a prediction, and there has been no confirmation from Rajab Butt or anyone from the Sistrology family regarding the possibility of such a relationship or marriage. Nevertheless, the statement has once again placed Rajab’s personal life in the spotlight and generated considerable discussion across social media. As speculation continues, fans will likely be watching closely for any response from Rajab, Emaan or the Sistrology family. Until then, the prediction remains unverified and should be treated as speculation rather than a confirmed development.

Pro-Palestine activists call for Spider-Man film boycott

Pro-Palestinian campaigners in Lebanon, Jordan and other parts of the Arab world have urged audiences to boycott Spider-Man: Brand New Day, citing producer Avi Arad’s public support for Israel. The boycott campaign is focused on Arad’s political views and background rather than the film’s storyline, cast or other members of its production team. The Campaign to Boycott Supporters of Israel in Lebanon called on audiences to avoid purchasing tickets for the film. The group argued that spending money on a production associated with individuals who openly support Israel could contribute to what it described as cultural normalisation. The campaign also urged cinemas and audiences to reject paid screenings of the movie as part of broader efforts to oppose Israeli policies. A similar call was issued in Jordan by the Taharrak anti-normalisation movement. The group urged the public to boycott the film and called on cinemas to remove it from their screening schedules. The campaign also appealed to the Jordanian Artists Syndicate, cinema operators and other relevant organisations to take a position against the movie’s screening. Activists and social media personalities in other Arab countries have subsequently amplified the boycott calls. Spider-Man: Brand New Day stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker and is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. Marvel lists Arad among the film’s producers, alongside Kevin Feige, Amy Pascal and Rachel O’Connor. Arad, a former Marvel Studios chief, holds both Israeli and US citizenship. He served in the Israeli military from 1965 to 1968 and was involved in the 1967 Six-Day War. Campaigners have also pointed to comments Arad made in 2024 while criticising then-US Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. Schumer had described Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as an obstacle to peace and called for new elections in Israel. In a letter published by entertainment outlet TheWrap, Arad rejected Schumer’s position and argued that US politicians should not seek to influence Israel’s electoral process. He also referred to his military service and opposed Schumer’s position regarding a ceasefire. Pro-Palestinian campaigners say Arad’s statements reflect his political support for Israel and argue that audiences should avoid financially supporting productions linked to him. The impact of the boycott campaign on the film’s commercial performance remains uncertain. Despite the calls for a boycott, the movie continued to screen in Lebanon, where a representative of the Grand Cinemas chain said shortly after its release that audience demand remained strong.

BTS star V reveals two-year hearing loss struggle

BTS member V, whose real name is Kim Tae-hyung, has revealed that he has been undergoing treatment for hearing loss in his right ear for more than two years. The 30-year-old singer shared the information during a livestream on Wednesday, telling fans that this was the first time he had publicly spoken about the condition. V explained that his hearing in the affected ear is significantly weaker than in his left ear. He said that if his hearing in the left ear is considered 100%, the level in his right ear is around 30%. The singer said the problem became more noticeable during his mandatory military service in South Korea. However, he initially did not consider the issue serious and believed he could overcome it through mental strength. V said he is now receiving medical treatment, taking medication and visiting hospital regularly to manage the condition. His revelation comes as BTS is undertaking its first major world tour since all seven members reunited following their mandatory military service. BTS members began taking breaks from their group activities in 2022 as they prepared to fulfil their military obligations. V enlisted in 2023 and completed his service in June 2025. The group’s Arirang World Tour began in South Korea in April and has marked a highly anticipated return of the full seven-member lineup. The latest livestream came after BTS completed its concerts in Baltimore, Maryland. During the livestream, V was joined by fellow BTS member Jungkook, who also spoke about an injury affecting his shin during the tour. Jungkook revealed that he was concerned about the injury developing into a stress fracture and said he would need to manage it carefully to continue performing throughout the tour. BTS is scheduled to travel to several major international destinations in the coming months, including Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, Bangkok, Sydney and Hong Kong.

Zayn Malik promotes greenpeace ‘Be Cool’ Tee a…

Zayn Malik has joined forces with Greenpeace UK to promote a new “Be Cool” T-shirt campaign as Britain faces an intense summer heatwave and growing concerns over the effects of climate change. Malik encouraged his fans to support the campaign by purchasing the oversized T-shirt, with proceeds going towards Greenpeace’s climate-focused work and efforts to promote solutions to global warming. The partnership marks another example of the singer using his public platform to draw attention to environmental issues. The campaign comes as the United Kingdom experiences exceptionally high temperatures during the summer of 2026. Several areas have recorded temperatures significantly above seasonal averages, while authorities have issued heat-health warnings. Water shortages have also led to hosepipe restrictions in some regions, as pressure on supplies increases. The prolonged heat has raised concerns beyond discomfort. Dry conditions have heightened the risk of wildfires, while health officials have warned that extreme temperatures can pose serious risks, particularly to older people, young children and those with existing health problems. Greenpeace UK has used the campaign to highlight the connection between rising temperatures and the urgent need for climate action. The organisation hopes the collaboration will encourage people, particularly younger audiences, to learn more about climate change and support measures aimed at reducing emissions and protecting the environment. Malik’s involvement quickly attracted attention online, with fans praising the singer for combining fashion with an environmental message. Many supporters welcomed his decision to use his influence to promote a cause extending beyond music. Social media reactions also brought a lighter side to the campaign. Some fans joked that, with Britain experiencing record-breaking heat, the planet was “getting hotter than Zayn himself.” The campaign arrives at a time when extreme weather is increasingly shaping public discussions about climate change. By pairing a simple summer wardrobe item with an environmental message, Malik and Greenpeace UK are hoping to turn fan enthusiasm into meaningful support for climate solutions.

Andrew and Tristan Tate face harsh conditions at Miami jail

The federal detention facility in Miami where social media personalities Andrew and Tristan Tate are being held has faced several problems in recent months, including issues with water, air conditioning and an incident involving detainees and prison staff. The United States Bureau of Prisons (BOP), which manages the facility, confirmed that these problems occurred but maintained that the brothers’ current conditions are reasonable and lawful. Andrew Tate, 39, and his brother Tristan, 38, were arrested in Miami on July 18 following an extradition request from Britain, where they face rape charges. Both men, who hold dual American and British citizenship, have denied the allegations. Their lawyers have criticised the conditions at the Federal Detention Centre Miami, claiming that the brothers are being kept in harsh solitary confinement. Andrew Tate, who has built a large online audience by promoting controversial views about masculinity, has complained about his treatment through posts on X. He has claimed that he was forced to drink dirty water, which caused stomach problems, and that loud shouting from nearby prisoners prevented him from sleeping. He has also alleged that he was not given his daily opportunity for exercise. Prosecutors in Miami responded in a court filing on August 10, saying the brothers are being kept in the facility’s Special Housing Unit for their own protection. They argued that although the detention centre is not a luxury facility, the brothers’ living conditions remain constitutional and within the authority of the Bureau of Prisons. The BOP said an annual water-quality test found the facility’s water safe for drinking. Officials also rejected claims that the brothers lacked basic necessities, stating that they have appropriate beds, food and access to drinking water. Prosecutors further said the brothers are permitted recreation time and can meet with their lawyers. The Tate brothers’ lawyers, however, have described different conditions. They claimed that the brothers’ beds are shorter than their height and that they were not provided with pillows. According to their legal team, the brothers spent 11 of their first 15 days without leaving their cells. The detention centre has also experienced broader maintenance problems. Defence lawyer Paul Petruzzi, who represents several detainees at the facility, said some rooms used for meetings with lawyers became unavailable after water damage caused ceilings to collapse. The BOP said repairs were underway, while several other legal-visit rooms remained available. There have also been problems with the facility’s water pressure and cooling system. Officials said a water-pressure problem occurred on July 1 but was resolved the following day, with bottled water supplied to inmates. An air-conditioning chiller also malfunctioned on July 6 and was later repaired. On July 11, some immigrant detainees reportedly resisted orders to remain in their cells because of the heat. According to the BOP, the situation became confrontational and staff used pepper spray in the air to restore order. The incident remains under investigation. The Tate brothers are expected to ask a federal judge in Miami for bail while they challenge their extradition to Britain.

Rabya Kulsoom demands action over leaked drama footage

KARACHI: Pakistani actor Rabya Kulsoom has called for stronger measures against the unauthorised release of footage from television drama sets, saying such leaks should carry legal consequences. The actor raised the issue after unreleased footage from the popular drama Zanjeerain appeared online. The clip reportedly features actors Sajal Ali and Danyal Zafar in a scene that had not yet been broadcast. Kulsoom stressed that actors and production teams should have control over how material recorded on a drama set is used or shared. She argued that private conversations, behind-the-scenes moments and scenes connected to future storylines should not be circulated without consent. In a social media post, the actor urged production houses and television channels to introduce stricter rules to prevent unauthorised recordings from reaching the public. She said repeated leaks could create problems for actors, directors, writers and other members of a production team. According to her, sharing sensitive set material without permission can affect both the privacy of those involved and the impact of an upcoming storyline. Actor Usman Javed, who is also part of Zanjeerain, criticised the leak and questioned how the footage was obtained. He called on those responsible to stop sharing unauthorised material, saying such actions undermine the efforts of the entire cast and crew. The incident has also drawn reactions from viewers, with several fans supporting calls for greater protection of unreleased drama content and actors’ privacy. The leak comes as Zanjeerain approaches its conclusion. The drama has so far aired 29 episodes, with eight episodes remaining before the finale. With several major developments still expected in the remaining episodes, the unauthorised release of footage has raised concerns that future plot points could be revealed before their scheduled broadcast.

Why collectors pay millions for fractured porcelain

There is a low-frequency hum inside an antique shop, an acoustic hush from dust and centuries of quiet survival. It is often the wounded object that commands the most reverence amidst the polished mahogany and gleaming silver. A spiderweb hairline fractured across the belly of a Qing dynasty jar; a cobalt Blue Willow plate stitched together with iron staples; a tea bowl held in delicate cohesion by golden veins of lacquer. In a modern economy obsessed with pristine surfaces and factory precision, these fractured ceramics defy logic. They do retain value despite their damage. Often, they derive their singular majesty precisely because they broke. The art market regularly bears witness to this quiet paradox. At major auction houses in London and New York, porcelain pieces bearing dramatic structural fractures, historic restorations or visible fractures routinely sell for astronomical sums. When a cracked 18th-century Chinese brush washer or a chipped Song Dynasty bowl is launched, purists do not turn away. Instead, connoisseurs see a vessel that has successfully negotiated with time. A pristine artifact can feel like an untouched relic in a glass museum case. A cracked ceramic, however, carries the irreplaceable friction of human history. This romantic obsession with fracture finds its deepest philosophical roots in the Japanese tradition of Kintsugi: literally, golden joinery. In 15th-century Japan, legend holds that the shogun Ashikaga Yoshimasa sent a damaged Chinese tea bowl back to China for repair. It returned bound by heavy and unsightly metal staples. Japanese craftsmen was displeased and sought a more poetic solution. He bonded the porcelain shards with Japanese lacquer dusting it with powdered gold. Rather than disguising the trauma, Kintsugi illuminated the break. This technique transformed a domestic accident into a radiant architecture of resilience. When collectors haunt dim antique parlors today for cracked celadon or worn earthenware, they are participating in a quiet rebellion against the disposable. We live in an era of engineered obsolescence where a small fracture on a smartphone screen renders the entire device wasted. Antique ceramics represent the opposite: fired earth that withstands centuries, absorbing the touch of generations, bearing scars as badges of longevity. A crack proves that the vessel was used, held, washed, dropped, mourned and salvaged. It shifts the object from a passive decoration to an active survivor. Even the historical methods of repair have become prized antiques in their own right. Before gold lacquer was widely available, 18th and 19th-century itinerant tinkerers repaired heirloom china using metal staples. They were drilling tiny holes on either side of a split and hammering in delicate bronze or iron rivets. To a contemporary eye, these industrial-looking stitches might seem like visual vandalism. Yet, to collectors of stapled china, those iron rivets are exquisite evidence of human ingenuity and resourcefulness from an era when nothing precious was ever casually thrown away.   Ultimately, the enduring value of cracked porcelain in antique shops lies in what it reflects about our own human condition. Perfection is intimidating, fragile and ultimately unfeeling. Rupture, on the other hand, is universal. When a buyer pays for a cracked jar, they are purchasing a physical manifestation of survival. They acquire a tangible reminder that broken things can be mended, that wounds can be highlighted with beauty and that time does not diminish value, but rather confers it.
