Pattaya Mayor Visits Beach Area to Boost Officers’ Morale in Joint Crackdown on Illegal Parking

Mayor “Beer” of Pattaya City on Saturday inspected the beachfront area to encourage and support local officials, civil servants and municipal employees engaged in a coordinated operation to regulate vehicle parking.

The mayor joined forces with officers from the Pattaya City Police Station, Pattaya Tourist Police and Banglamung Volunteer Defense Corps. Together, the multi-agency team focused on organizing the parking of songthaews (shared taxis) and motorcycles available for rent along Pattaya Beach.

The operation is to restore order, reduce congestion and improve safety and convenience for both residents and tourists in one of the city’s busiest tourist zones. Mayor Beer’s on-site visit shows the municipality’s commitment to integrated enforcement and the welfare of frontline personnel carrying out the regulatory work.
