Sara Duterte trial: Why VP’s staff appear allergic to the word ‘disburse’
At the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte, her subordinates appear reluctant to even utter the word “disburse” when referring to Colonel Raymund Lachica.
They repeatedly answer that Duterte’s security officer merely “implemented” the Office of the Vice President’s confidential operations. Asked whether Lachica “disbursed” the OVP’s confidential funds, they stop short of saying so.
