Leaked: Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra design revealed
Fresh leaks have given us our best look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra yet.
We’re not saying that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 series launch has been protracted – the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 only arrived in early September of last year, after all – but it certainly feels as though it’s been dragged out.
That’s probably because every last detail concerning Samsung’s next flagship tablet range seems to have been revealed in a slow drip of information, like a leaky tap. It’s one of the worst kept secrets in tech right now.
The latest leak doesn’t really tell us anything we didn’t already know, but it certainly dots the i’s in no uncertain terms.
Reliable tipster Evan Blass has posted extensive renders of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra to X. These images, which look decidedly like the kind of press renders that will be accompanying the launch of the tablet, show us the device from all angles.
We even get a glimpse of the compatible S Pen stylus in there.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra design and specs
In resolutely unsurprising news, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is going to look a lot like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra (which you can see in the title image). As in, it’s nigh-on identical. It’s got the same weird semicircular display notch and everything.
Over on Bluesky, fellow tipster Roland Quandt has posted EU energy labels for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 series seemingly taken direct from the Samsung website. They show Wi-Fi and 5G variants of both the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Plus and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, and they also confirm IP68 protection for both.
Previous claims have suggested that Samsung’s new Ultra tablet will run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chip, with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
There should be a 14.6-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, and it’ll likely run on an 11600mAh battery.
Last week we heard fresh evidence from the same source that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 series would be announced on 7 October, so we should soon be able to put all of these leaks and rumours to bed.
