These Samsung devices are still to come in 2026 — Explained
Samsung has announced as many phones, tablets and smart devices as anyone in 2026, but it’s far from finished.
The company is fresh off launching the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Flip 8, and Fold 8 Ultra, as well as the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and Galaxy Watch 9.
Following on from the Samsung Galaxy S26 and the latest Samsung Galaxy A series, not to mention the Samsung Galaxy XR headset, you might think that’s a good year’s work. Not so.
Samsung recently announced a surprise launch for next week, on 27 August, and there’s likely to be more reveals beyond that.
Here are the Samsung devices that we’re still expecting to see before 2027 rolls around.
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE
Comfortably the biggest Samsung launch remaining for 2026 is the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE, the phone that’s likely to be announced next week.
This will be the follow-up to our favourite mid-range phone of the past 12 months or so, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, and a more affordable alternative to the pricier-than-ever Samsung Galaxy S26.
We’re not expecting huge improvements from the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE, outside of a new Exynos 2500 chip and a slightly reworked camera module design. But it should be another slick mid-range performer.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 series
The last we heard about Samsung’s next premium tablet refresh came earlier in August.
If accurate, we can expect Samsung to announce the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+ on 7 October.
This will mark a bit of a delay from the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11, which rolled out on 4 September 2025.
Reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra will look and handle much like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra (which you can see in the title image), with the same distinctive semicircular notch in the same 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen.
Both the Ultra and the Plus model will apparently run on a Dimensity 9500 processor with 12GB of RAM, with storage starting from 256GB. There’ll also be a microSD slot with both.
Samsung’s Ultra model will reportedly come with a large 11,600mAh battery and 45W wired charging.

Samsung smart glasses
This one we know is going to happen. Samsung and Google announced their so-called “Intelligent Eyewear” partnership earlier in the year at Google I/O, with the promise of an autumn rollout.
These casual-looking glasses (Gentle Monster and Warby Parker are on design duty) will be powered by the Android XR platform, with voice-activated requests inputs handled by Google Gemini.
They’ll run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chip.

Samsung Galaxy A08
Support pages for the Samsung Galaxy A08 and the Samsung Galaxy A07s recently went live in a number of territories, though the UK, Europe and the US seemingly aren’t among them.
Given that the Samsung Galaxy A07 eventually made its way over here via third party retailers, however, its immediate successor the Galaxy A08 is probably worth a mention.
This will be the latest iteration of Samsung’s super-cheap phone, so expect bare bones specifications. At the very least, it’ll be a potential candidate if you’re looking for a first phone for your kid.
