Galaxy S25 FE hits new all-time low of £399 in early Prime Day bargain — Explained
Early Prime Day deal
Galaxy S25 FE from just £399
Lowest price it’s ever been
Amazon’s next Prime Day sale, known officially as ‘Prime Big Deal’ days, is just around the corner. But you can already get one of the best phone bargains of the year.
Despite launching last September, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 FE remains our favourite mid-range phone, with the newer Galaxy S26 FE delivering barely-there upgrades and a price rise.
What’s more, the S25 FE blows its successor out of the water at this new price. In Amazon’s ‘Early Prime Deal’, you can snag it for just £399. That’s a full £250 (39%) off its £649 RRP, and simply incredible value for money.
However, this superb price is only available on the ‘White’ model with 128GB of storage. For ‘Jet Black’ and ‘Navy’ finishes, you’ll currently pay at least £549.
As you might imagine, the deal is exclusive to Amazon Prime members. But you can get a free 30-day trial if you’ve never signed up before, meaning you won’t have to pay a single penny. After that, it costs £8.99 per month or £95 per year, though free next-day delivery is just one of many benefits.
What the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE has to offer
The fact that the Galaxy S25 FE is still the best mid-range phone more a year after it was released speaks volumes. That’s because it offers a near-perfect blend of premium hardware and slick software that closely mimics flagships, something the S26 FE didn’t materially change despite increasing the price.
In my 4.5-star review, I praised the S25 FE’s excellent build quality, superb battery life and strong main and selfie cameras (a.k.a. the lenses you’ll use the most). Performance is also very solid, unless you’re planning on demanding gaming.

Samsung also has the upper hand on most rivals in the software department, with One UI 9 rolling out soon to build on an already intuitive user interface with tonnes of customisation options. Six more years of software updates is the icing on the cake.
However, it’s not perfect, with underwhelming ultrawide and telephoto cameras the main disappointment. While I encountered some software bugs during testing, these are almost certain to have been fixed by now.
Why it’s a good deal
I could still recommend the 256GB model of the Galaxy S25 FE at its full £649 RRP, which speaks volumes as to how much it impressed me.
To see a £250 discount on a device that’s so well future-proofed makes it a no-brainer if you’re looking for a mid-range phone.

With any potential major upgrades on the new Galaxy S26 FE off the table, you can buy this older model with confidence. It’s the phone I’ll be recommending to anyone with £400 to spend on a new phone, and you can easily cover the white finish with a case if it’s not your thing.
With that in mind, I doubt you’ll be disappointed if you opt for the Galaxy S25 FE now. Given that it’s now well under half the price of most flagship phones, your wallet will certainly thank you.
