Google just revealed the Pixel 11 Pro by mistake: A Practical Look
We’re just a few weeks away from the official Pixel 11 launch event, but Google just accidentally showed off the Pro model, confirming a new colourway.
Following some teasers, including our first proper glimpse at the new Pixel Glow feature, Google has posted an image of the new Pixel 11 Pro phone on its website.
As you can see, the Pixel 11 Pro is shown in a section of the Google Fi site alongside Samsung and Motorola phones. It says “Sign up for Google Fi Wireless updates today to unlock exclusive savings when the Pixel 11 series drops on August 12.”
The offer doesn’t really make sense considering it’s leaking the phone design ahead of the launch event, so was swiftly removed, though not before Droid Life got a screengrab of it.

Despite the offer saying mentioning the Pixel 11 Pro XL by name, the device pictured looks like the smaller Pixel 11 Pro. The offer, for US buyers, will get you the phone for just $100 – presumably if you sign up for a new contract, and maybe trade in your old phone as well.
More importantly, it appears to confirm a brand-new colourway, thought to be called Dune. It matches a recent leak of seven different Pixel 11 colourways and could be exclusive to the two Pro models (excluding the Fold), which we ranked the most exciting of the lot.
This colour has a gold metal frame similar to that of Google’s teaser images, though they don’t reveal what colour the back is. I’d be interested to see a black and gold colourway, but it’s more likely that it’s just hidden in the images.

As well as the new Pixel Glow feature, the Pixel 11 range is set to get upgraded displays, processor and storage. However, a price increase is likely on the way, too.
