Prime Day deal

Pixel 10 Pro down to lowest-ever price

Now just £549

Google’s latest generation of smartphones is fully focused on artificial intelligence.

If you’re in the market for a new Google phone, the Pixel 11 series probably has your full attention.

But as good as the latest handsets are, they’re also more expensive than ever. By opting for a previous-gen model, you get almost all of the core Pixel phone features at a fraction of the price.

On Amazon, the Google Pixel 10 Pro with 128 GB currently costs just £549 in the UK. That’s a mega 45% off compared to the price at launch, and the lowest it’s ever been.

With a rating of 4.3 out of 5 stars from nearly 1,000 reviews, the Pixel 10 Pro is well-received by its users. It also impressed in our review, scoring 4 out of 5 stars: “There’s no question that Pixel 10 Pro’s design, cameras and software experience are first rate”.

However, this excellent price only applies to the ‘Obsidian’ (black) model. You’ll also need to be an Amazon Prime member to access it, with everyone else having to pay £597. If you’ve never signed up before, you can get a free 30-day trial.

But with Prime Day set to end at 11.59pm on 7 October, you don’t have long to secure it. Stock could run out well before then, too.

To help you keep track of the best offers, we’ve rounded up the most exciting Prime Day deals for you.

What the Google Pixel 10 Pro has to offer

Over a year since its release, the Pixel 10 Pro remains an excellent phone. With the 11 Pro introducing a price hike and minimal upgrades, this is the one most people should go for.

Its Tensor G5 chip is still a dependable performer that’s specifically designed for AI applications. Our test revealed that whilst the hardware doesn’t deliver top scores in traditional benchmarks, it excels thanks to smart software support directly on the device.

Features such as Magic Cue and Camera Coach use AI to make everyday life easier – for example, through automatic suggestions or assistance when taking photos.

The Pixel 10 Pro features a triple-camera system with a 50Mp main sensor, a 48Mp ultra-wide-angle lens and a 48Mp telephoto lens. Particularly noteworthy is the ‘Pro Res Zoom’ with up to 100x magnification, which can deliver detailed results with the help of AI.

In our test, the Pixel 10 Pro impressed with very good photos in low light and accurate colour reproduction, even though competitors such as Samsung or Xiaomi are slightly ahead in terms of pure image quality.

According to our test, the 4,870 mAh battery provides over 13 hours of battery life. That’s a good figure. The 6.3-inch Super Actua display offers a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and is one of the brightest OLED panels in its class. In everyday use, this means you benefit from a clear display in sunlight and smooth operation.

Charging is via a 30W cable or 15W wireless charging using the new Qi2 standard, which is compatible with magnetic Pixelsnap accessories, plus many that are designed for Apple’s MagSafe.

Why it’s a good deal

If you want a premium handset with great cameras, slick software and AI smarts, the Pixel 10 Pro is a great choice.

For just £549, you get a high-quality device with good battery life, a bright display and a long-term update commitment, with six more years promised. It’s already eligible for Android 17, unlike many non-Pixel phones.

In user reviews, the smartphone receives high praise for its camera, long battery life and high-quality build, making it an ideal device for now and well into the future.
