Fantastic, future-focused cars like the Mustang SVO, Merkur XR4Ti, Thunderbird Turbo Coupe…and then gas prices fell and the Mustang GT became the star. The SVO has one of the most unique (and short-lived, and polarizing) front end designs in Mustang history. This is a great example and should be fun to watch!”

“I laughed out loud when I saw this listing. Not at the machine or the seller’s fine presentation of course, but at the breadth and depth of human ingenuity for all manor of powered conveyance. We motorheads have a lot of fun don’t we?
Kudos to the seller for showing us what this thing can really do.. Here’s a rig that cuts through all pretense with unapologetic utility. Mainstream automakers take note.”

As a kid, RW 77 was frequently parked next to my mum’s Healey 3000 outside the Horse & Groom in Alresford, Hants and thiks early fascination with the E was firmly planted in this kid’s brain. Subsequent personal involvement with John Coombs’ lightweight E Types at Goodwood only served to deepen the lifelong fascination and appreciation of these automotive masterpieces.
