Our newest Success Story video is a bit of a departure from the norm. Most of our subjects grew up with some sort of attachment to and appreciation of cars and car culture. Old cars weren’t a part of Ranna‘s life until very recently, but through running her family’s home design business she developed an eye for style, an appreciation of craft, and a fearless approach to life. On a lark, she bought a blacked-out 1979 Corolla on BaT in January, taught herself to drive stick, and has been enjoying the change of pace that comes with driving a fully analog vehicle. We spent the day with Ranna, her family, and Doom (an adorable Boston Terrier/Chihuahua mix), and we’re excited to share her story.

9/17 Update: We have a winner!
The Travelall had the lead in the first half, but the Healey 100-6 caught up midway through and pulled off a surprise upset, edging out the IH and securing the win by a handful of votes! Congratulations to its new owner, @Quicksilver914, who just racked up his fifth BaT auction win.

10/22 Update: We have a winner!
Over 140 of you made your voices heard in the latest Michelin and BFGoodrich tire giveaway, and it was a close one! It immediately became a competition between the triple-carb XJ6 and the green Squire wagon. And despite the Jag’s best efforts, the Ford kept its lead and took the win. Congratulations to its new owner, @SkyEyes.

Our network of trusted BaT Local Partners is growing more robust as new helpers sign on. Today we’re announcing the addition of new shops in Florida, North Carolina, Illinois, and Oregon. As sellers, all of them have proven themselves over the course of many BaT auctions, and are ready to assist with maintenance, preparation, photography and video packages, auction management, and post-sale logistics.

If Bring a Trailer is a car club, it’s the least exclusive car club ever, and that’s a point of pride for most of us in the BaT community. Even so, every club needs a way to declare their affinity, which is why we’ve restocked our popular BaT Hot Rod jacket in the BaT Gear Store.

We saw more than 130 of you cast your ballot in the ninth round of this year’s Michelin and BFGoodrich tire giveaway, and today the tallies are in! All four contestants were off to a strong start, but in the end, the AMC Eagle took off with the win by snagging nearly half of the votes. Congratulations to its new owner, @nc_.
