If Bring a Trailer is a car club, it’s the least exclusive car club ever, and that’s a point of pride for most of us in the BaT community. Even so, every club needs a way to declare their affinity, which is why we’ve restocked our popular BaT Hot Rod jacket in the BaT Gear Store.
11/19 Update: We have a winner!
We saw more than 130 of you cast your ballot in the ninth round of this year’s Michelin and BFGoodrich tire giveaway, and today the tallies are in! All four contestants were off to a strong start, but in the end, the AMC Eagle took off with the win by snagging nearly half of the votes. Congratulations to its new owner, @nc_.
As we round into the final stretch of 2025, we remain thankful for the enthusiasm, passion, knowledge, and humor that all of you out there in the BaT community bring to this site every day. We hope your all enjoy safe travels, plentiful side dishes, and quality time with your friends/family/cars/pets/television. A few housekeeping items below:
11/30 Update: The BaT Black Friday Sale ends tonight! If you’re looking to score some BaT merch, now’s the time to get to the Gear Store.
Well, we can’t really offer discounts on our sellers’ vehicles for Black Friday (though there are certainly some bargains to be had). Instead, we’re rolling out big savings on all almost all BaT merchandise in the Gear Store. Starting Thursday, November 27, die-cast models are 50% off, and all other items are 35% off (excluding only charity sale items and the Hot Rod jacket).
Go to any cars & coffee, and you’ll hear owners bragging about “time capsules” and low miles. It’s far less common (and often a lot more interesting) to see cars that have been used, driven, and enjoyed. In fact, we sometimes call out an automobile’s high mileage in the title of the auction as a badge of honor. In conversation with our friends at Pennzoil, we began musing about rewarding the current owners of the machines on BaT that have taken the “long may we drive” ethos very literally. We’ll be sending each of them a rebate good for up to 6 quarts of any Pennzoil motor oil, redeemable at one of their local auto parts stores.
It’s been a few years since we released a BaT Charity Calendar, and after a couple rounds of books and some cool collaborations with The Piston Foundation, we decided to produce another round of calendars, this time for the benefit of Feeding America, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that will be receiving 100% of the full sale amount, with all production and printing costs covered pro-bono. Feeding America is a nationwide network of food banks, food pantries, and local meal programs doing the good work of helping people meet their most basic needs at a time when that’s getting harder for many families. We celebrate motoring in all of its forms here at BaT, but there are other things to celebrate this time of year (or so we’ve heard). That’s why we’ve developed a new collection of eminently gift-able Bring a Trailer-branded merch to give to your friends and loved ones, whether you’re celebrating in an age-old tradition or you just like them a lot. The 10th round of this year’s Michelin and BFGoodrich tire giveaway is officially on the books. Over 100 of you took to the ballot box, and every contestant received a healthy measure of love from the beginning. But the Toyota pickup was quick to take the lead and kept it up until the end, even with the Miata nipping at its heels. Congratulations to its new owner, @Fredand5kids!

That was quite a flurry of activity to finish off 2025. We’re proud, and thankful, to say that 2025 represented another in a long string of great years for BaT Auctions, and the ever-expanding BaT Community of buyers, sellers, experts, Local Partners, watchers, commenters, and crazies are what continues to make it happen.
