This week, we asked: What was the most ‘70s paint color of the 1970s?

Thanks to everyone who participated! We took out our 64-color set out of Crayola Crayons and immediately went to working reviewing your answers. Varying shades of greens, browns, and golds were popular this week, but one particular color was the most-mentioned by name: Plum Crazy Purple! BaT member @Trusted_One was the first to nominate it:

“Well, being totally colorblind (my dates thought I just had no taste in fashion!) I’m probably not the one to comment on this. But I do remember being able to see the.Plum Crazy Dodge Challenger R/T and having to put on my Ray-Ban sunglasses to tone down the pain to my eyes!”

Thanks to everyone who participated! Two nominations were deadlocked for pole position this week: Michael Schumacher’s 2006 infamous “parking” job at Monaco and Aryton Senna’s qualifying lap at the 1988 Monaco Grand Prix. So we turned to the thumbs to determine our winner, and with a cumulative 11 likes, this week’s winning nomination is Senna’s Monaco GP qualifying run! This week, we asked: Which mini truck model would you bring back?

We’ve gathered up your responses and presented an amicus brief including your pleas for small, single-cab pickups, but these fell on deaf ears in this week’s Supreme Court hearings. Perhaps we’ll settle for double-cabs, but we’ll leave that decision to the automakers—should they ever happen to read this discussion thread in its entirety. The Datsun 620 was the most mentioned nomination, and based on that reasoning, will be dubbed this week’s winner! BaT member @da-cat was the first to it:
