Our question this week was: If you could resurrect one model as a 2025 car, what would it be?

Many of you staked your claims on a wide variety of cars, ranging from sensible-yet-fun commuters to dependable mini trucks (remember when trucks weren’t huge?). In the end, there can only be one winner, and we’re giving the prize to the most popular nomination (the People’s Choice!), which was the Saab 900. BaT member @AsherSPG, obviously a Saab devotee judging by the username, was the first to it:

WINNER’S UPDATE:

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We’re back to announce the winner for our Question of the Week, where our champion will rest on their laurels and take delivery of a $25 credit for a hat or T-shirt from the BaT Gear Store.

Our question was: What vehicle should have worn a turkey as a badge?

Thanks to everyone who participated. We mentioned that the turkey means so many things to so many people, and this week, many of you saw it as an automotive flop. After tallying up your responses, the Yugo GV emerged as the most-mentioned nomination. BaT member @caymanandwent was the first to mention it, but he—along with runner-up @SteveIOMTT—are both fresh off a QotW win. So we’re awarding the prize to BaT user @Bejarab!

Our question this week was: What’s your favorite convertible conversion?
Thanks to everyone who participated! Your nominations covered a variety of voluntary and involuntary de-roofings, and the Dodge Dakota was mentioned the most this week. It’s certainly an interesting specimen, but after much discussion, we determined that since the bodystyle was a factory option (though subcontracted to ASC), it didn’t quite meet the criteria. So we’re exercising our Editorial Privilege and picking the nomination that stood out to us the most: the E31 8-Series convertible conversion by SGS dubbed the Monte Carlo. BaT member @KB20A  mentioned it and will therefore take home the prize: 
One of the most factory-looking and polished examples is the SGS Monte Carlo E31 8-series.

Thanks to everyone who participated! You showed plenty of enthusiasm for a wide variety of cars from around the globe. In the end, the Renault Sport Clio V6 and Avantime, along with the VW New Beetle RSi, were tied in nominations. So we turned to the thumbs to determine our winner. With a cumulative 18 likes as of this writing, the Sport Clio V6 is this week’s winning nomination, and BaT member @wh400 was the first to it right out of the gate:

Our question this week was: What’s the coolest art car?

Thanks to everyone who chimed in! These kinds of questions typically invite perspectives from across the BaT community, and your responses certainly ran the gamut. Of course, we’re not the kind of art snobs who tell you what you should like, so this week’s winner goes to the nomination with the most likes—our People’s Choice! And that was from @IsAlwaystheAnswer, who nominated Janis Joplin’s hand-painted Porsche 356:

Our question this week was: What’s the one vehicle that best describes your taste in autos?

Thanks to everyone who participated! Even in the midst of the holiday season, you still managed to rack up more than 100 comments. Narrowing your automotive taste down to a definitive example is tough work, so there’s really no wrong answer here. That said, this is a contest at the end of the day, and the 240-Series Volvo earned the most mentions this week. BaT member @PWSchuh was first to nominate a 245 Turbo specifically, but since he’s still coming off an early 2025 win, we’re passing the award to the runner-up—@Sjalabais!
