“When I first got the car, I was always under the hood or underneath the car, learning as I went, and it became the car my girlfriend — now my wife — and I took everywhere. A lot of great memories were made.
Life moved on, and the car ended up parked for close to four decades. Recently we decided to bring it back to life, get it running again, and return it to a period correct state. It’s been rewarding to hear it fire up and drive it again after all those years.

“This was the first car I ever bought new from a dealer when I was 20. I was driving a beat up old Ford F150 with bad linkage that I had bought for $150. The dealer offered a $5k of discount for anything you could push pull or drag in, so the Ford made his last journey.
My father had a terminal diagnosis at the time and provided the remaining $10k needed to make sure his little girl would have a new car after he was gone.
