“I love brown cars, probs because my mom’s car when I was a kid was a 1970 Tobacco Brown MB 250 base model. No A/C, but it did have a sunroof. I learned how to drive in that car by driving it across the USA when we moved from Cleveland to Colorado Springs in 1977 on a learner’s permit. CB radio keeping contact with my dad in the 1970 Ford Country Squire pulling the Argosy 26′ travel trailer. Memories baby, that’s what cars are.”

“Funny story – I was trying to find a correct new radiator cap for the TR4. I had gotten one from a British parts supplier, but it didn’t fit correctly. I grabbed my identical radiator from my project TR4 and went to the local parts stores to see what they had. Total strikeout. I went to Panda Express with TR4 radiator caps on my mind and got this fortune cookie. I immediately sent a picture of it to my wife saying “Looks like I’m getting another car!”.”

“Anyone buying an RX7 that’s been sitting for a long time should assume it needs apex seals unless proven otherwise. The dash and radio are lit up in some pics, so the car has electrical power. I’m guessing lack of power is the result of a few horses escaping the engine bay.
This FD is quite tempting. I have a few solutions for lack of power sitting in the corner of the shop ;)”

“I own a higher mileage AZ-1 just like this. It is awesome. Obviously the new owner will likely keep this stock, but upgrading the suspension to the Navic coilovers and adding a stiffer roll bar front and back dramatically changed the handling. It went from leaning SUV in the corners to go-kart. Just my 2 cents.”

“As a young couple we had a 1964 122sw from Massachusetts was which perfect given my tip income as a student & bartender. We ran it until the 225,000 mile mark and sold it for more than we paid for it. This restoration corrects for all of my Volvos obsolescence or weaknesses; larger engine; better fuel delivery; rust remediation, nice interior and respectable paint job. This one is a keeper!
