- Zeekr's July deliveries rose 111% year-on-year and increased 1.9% from June.
- Deliveries in the first seven months reached 214,207 units, up 98.86% year-on-year.
Zeekr, the premium electric vehicle (EV) brand of Geely Auto (HKEX: 0175), delivered 35,837 vehicles in July, up 111.09% year-on-year, according to data released on Saturday.
The figure is an all-time monthly high for the brand and marks the fourth consecutive month that Zeekr has set a record. The brand delivered 35,169 vehicles in June.
Still, the month-on-month gain narrowed to 1.90 percent, the smallest since March. That suggests Zeekr's growth is flattening after several months of rapid expansion.
In the first seven months of the year, Zeekr delivered 214,207 vehicles, up 98.86% year-on-year.
As of the end of July, the brand's cumulative deliveries stood at 857,096 units, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
By model, the Zeekr 9X and Zeekr 8X plug-in hybrids were the main sales drivers in July.
Zeekr launched a five-seat version of the 9X on July 28 with a limited-time starting price of 451,900 yuan ($66,560), below the 465,900 yuan starting price of the six-seat version.
The move came as the 9X momentum slows. The model delivered 6,382 units in June, down 24.39% from the previous month and its third consecutive monthly decline.
For Zeekr, a lower entry price is one way to sustain volume in China's increasingly competitive premium SUV market.
Overseas markets are another source of growth. Zeekr said its products are now available in more than 50 countries and regions.
The brand expanded sales of the Zeekr 007 GT shooting brake to 16 European countries in July, with a starting price of 45,990 euros in Europe.
In Southeast Asia, Zeekr plans to increase its Malaysian dealer outlets to 18 from 11 by the end of 2026.
Zeekr has said it plans to take the 9X overseas in the third quarter, followed by the Zeekr 009 Grand.
