One of the four major ligaments of the knee, the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL), connects the tibia (shin bone) to the femur (thigh bone) and offers stability. Although the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is more frequently injured, the PCL can also tear, resulting in discomfort, instability, and restricted movement.
