19-Rai Queen’s Park safety railings installed

New safety railings have been installed at 19-Rai Queen’s Park in Hua Hin to improve safety along the canal running through the public recreation area.

Hua Hin Mayor Nopporn Wutthikul inspected the stainless steel railings on Thursday, 9 July, alongside municipal councillors, senior officials and representatives from the municipality’s Engineering Department.

The 19-Rai Queen’s Park safety railings extend for a total of 480 metres and cover both sides of the canal. Hua Hin Municipality said the barriers were installed to help prevent accidents and make the area safer and more convenient for visitors.

The park is widely used for exercise, recreation and public activities.

Further upgrades planned at 19-Rai Queen’s Park

During the inspection, the mayor was joined by Pol Col Samer Yusamran, an adviser to the mayor; Natthawan Mitdee, secretary to the mayor; Amorn Phatthong, deputy chairman of the Hua Hin Municipal Council; municipal councillors; and Kolayut Kuyukham, director of the Engineering Department.

Hua Hin Municipality is also planning further improvements during the 2027 fiscal year.

More than 7 million baht is expected to be allocated to upgrade lighting throughout the park and improve the surrounding landscape.
