Hua Hin airport tunnel diversion begins for three months
Motorists should prepare for a Hua Hin airport tunnel diversion from 15 July to 31 October 2026 while expansion work is carried out.
The tunnel normally used by traffic leaving Hua Hin will be closed during the construction period.
Traffic changes at the Hua Hin airport tunnel
Vehicles travelling in both directions will instead share the Hua Hin-bound tunnel on the southbound side.
Drivers heading towards Cha-am or entering Hua Hin should follow the diversion signs, keep right when directed and reduce their speed through the work zone.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journey and drive with care while the temporary traffic arrangements remain in place.
