New road being constructed near Yarm Saad School
Construction of a reinforced concrete road near arm Saad School is under way as part of a 15.37 million baht project aimed at improving traffic flow and reducing local flooding.
Hua Hin City Municipality said its municipal clerk, Jeerawat Phrommanee, who also chairs the construction inspection committee, led a site visit on Wednesday alongside the Engineering Office director, Klayut Kuyukham, committee members and supervising engineers. They inspected the work with the contractor and reviewed progress against the approved plans.
Municipal officials said the project has entered the stage of pouring concrete for the road surface. The road is being built to a width of about 7.20 metres, with a length of about 790 metres and a thickness of 0.15 metres, covering at least 5,613 square metres of road surface.

The work also includes a drainage system and public lighting, which the municipality said are intended to help manage water runoff and improve safety in the area.
The municipality said the contract began on 27 September 2025 and is scheduled for completion within 270 days. During the inspection, the committee and supervising engineers instructed the contractor to follow the approved plans and engineering standards to ensure safety and required workmanship.
Hua Hin City Municipality apologised for any inconvenience during construction and asked road users to take extra care when travelling through the work zone until the Yarm Saad School road construction is completed.
