Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin installs new president

The Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin held its 17th Annual Club Officers’ Installation Night on Tuesday, 23 June 2026, at Amari Hua Hin Resort, marking the start of the 2026-2027 Rotary year.

Ms Napa Kaewtem was installed as the club’s new president, taking over from Mr Brian Anderson, the outgoing president from the United States.

Hua Hin Mayor Nopporn Wuttikul attended the ceremony with Deputy Mayor Busaba Choksuchat to congratulate the new president and recognise the club’s contribution to the local community.

The event was also attended by members of the Rotaract Club of Stamford International University, Hua Hin Campus, and the Rotaract Club of Rajamangala University, Wangklaikangwon Campus.

Club members and guests included foreign residents from 21 countries, many of them from Europe and Scandinavia, who live in the Hua Hin and Cha-am area.

Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin projects in the community

Mr Nopporn said the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin has worked closely with Hua Hin Municipality on a number of local projects, particularly in public health and humanitarian support.

Its previous projects have included donating medical equipment and supplies to Hua Hin Hospital, as well as providing an ambulance. The club has also supported basic life support training, including instruction on the use of AED devices and CPR for members of the public and local emergency responders.

The club has also supported education and youth development through projects such as building libraries and providing scholarships for schools in remote areas, including Ban Nong Khon School and Ban Wang Khoi School.

Mr Nopporn said the municipality welcomed the continued partnership with the club and expressed confidence that Ms Napa would lead the organisation in continuing its service work for the benefit of the Hua Hin community.
