Azad Kashmir enters final counting phase

Polling has ended in the third phase of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly elections. The vote-counting process has now begun.

Polling was held in four constituencies of Bagh and Haveli. These included LA-14 Bagh-1, LA-15 Bagh-2, LA-16 Bagh-3 and LA-17 Bagh-4 Haveli.

The polling process started at 8am and continued until 5pm. Voters were allowed to cast their ballots throughout the scheduled polling hours.

With polling now concluded, election officials have started counting the votes. The results will determine the outcome of the remaining constituencies in the third phase.

The first two phases had already produced a lead for the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.

In the first phase, polling was held for 13 seats in the Mirpur Division. The PML-N won nine of these seats, while the Pakistan Peoples Party secured four.

The second phase covered nine seats in the Muzaffarabad Division and 12 seats reserved for refugees.

The PML-N won 15 seats in the second phase, while the PPP secured six seats.

The third phase is being closely watched as the counting process will complete the voting process across the remaining constituencies.

Election authorities are expected to announce results after the completion of counting and the required verification process.

The outcome of the third phase will also determine the final balance of seats and pave the way for the formation of the next government in Azad Kashmir.

    15-year-old boy killed in mazda truck accident in …

    A 15-year-old boy was killed after a Mazda truck collided with his motorcycle near Chamra Chowrangi in Karachi’s Korangi area on Wednesday. According to Express News, the teenage motorcyclist died at the scene following the collision. His body was shifted to Jinnah Hospital for the completion of legal and medical procedures. Rescue officials identified the deceased as 15-year-old Sagar, son of Rajab. Police said the teenager was riding the motorcycle himself when the accident occurred. Korangi Industrial Area SHO Hukam Dad said the incident took place after the motorcycle was struck by a Mazda truck. Police arrested the truck driver shortly after the accident and took the vehicle into custody. Authorities have launched a further investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the fatal collision. The teenager was a resident of Korangi, according to police. After the completion of the necessary legal procedures, his body was handed over to his family. The incident has once again raised concerns about road safety in Karachi, particularly involving heavy vehicles and young motorcyclists. Traffic accidents involving trucks and motorcycles can have devastating consequences because of the significant difference in size and weight between the vehicles. Police are continuing to investigate the case, while further details regarding the circumstances of the collision may emerge as the investigation progresses. Fitness coach Tejas Lalwani and nutritionist Alkesh Sharotri have reportedly designed a rigorous programme to help the actor build size and strength while maintaining overall fitness. His workout routine is expected to revolve around compound exercises, including squats, deadlifts, bench presses and pull-ups, with the intensity gradually increasing over the training period. Alongside the workouts, Kaushal is reportedly expected to consume an additional 250 to 500 calories daily, following a protein-rich diet that includes nuts, dairy products and whole grains to support healthy muscle gain. Recovery is also expected to play a crucial role in the transformation. According to the report, Kaushal will follow a strict recovery schedule that includes eight hours of sleep every night and 48-hour rest periods for each muscle group to minimise fatigue and maximise muscle growth during the demanding preparation.
