Ana de Armas sparks romance rumours with Beta Montenegro

Ana de Armas has sparked fresh romance rumours after being spotted enjoying a romantic getaway with Venezuelan singer Beta Montenegro in Spain, months after her reported relationship with Hollywood star Tom Cruise came to an end.

The 38-year-old Cuban actress was recently photographed sharing affectionate moments with Montenegro during a trip to Formentera. Images circulating online showed the pair enjoying a relaxed beach outing while appearing comfortable and affectionate in each other’s company.

The couple were reportedly seen holding hands and kissing as they made their way towards the beach. At one point, de Armas appeared to wrap her arms around Montenegro before sharing a kiss with him, further fuelling speculation that their relationship may have moved beyond friendship.

For the sunny outing, the actress opted for a black-and-white patterned summer dress paired with simple flip-flops. Montenegro kept his look casual, wearing a white T-shirt, teal shorts and a green baseball cap.

The latest sighting comes after de Armas and Montenegro were reportedly seen together several times in Madrid earlier this summer. Their appearances together began attracting attention, particularly after the pair were spotted attending a concert, where they were seen enjoying the music and dancing together.

Montenegro is best known as the frontman of Venezuelan band Rawayana. The group, which was formed in 2007, has established itself as one of the prominent names in Latin alternative music. Rawayana has released six albums, with ¿Dónde es el after? being its latest release.

The band also achieved a major career milestone in 2025 after winning the Grammy Award for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album, bringing further international attention to Montenegro and his musical career.

De Armas’ latest romance speculation comes after her high-profile connection with Tom Cruise. The pair first attracted dating rumours in February 2025 after being spotted having dinner together in London around Valentine’s Day weekend.

Their relationship reportedly continued for several months, with the pair being seen together on multiple occasions. However, reports later suggested that their romance ended in October 2025.

According to reports at the time, de Armas had become uncomfortable with the speed at which the relationship was developing and how serious things were becoming.

Since then, the actress has largely kept her personal life away from the spotlight. Her recent appearances with Montenegro, however, have once again placed her romantic life under public scrutiny.

Neither de Armas nor Montenegro has publicly confirmed the nature of their relationship. For now, their affectionate beach outing and previous appearances together continue to fuel speculation that the two may be dating.:::

Malik Riaz seeks intervention over Bahria Town ass…

Bahria Town founder Malik Riaz Hussain has appealed to senior Pakistani officials for intervention over the ongoing actions against his company and family. In a detailed appeal, Riaz raised concerns over the freezing, seizure and auction of Bahria Town properties. He claimed that assets worth around Rs238.6 billion have already been auctioned or taken into possession. He further alleged that some properties are currently facing auction and sale proceedings. According to the appeal, development projects worth approximately Rs372 billion have also been suspended. Riaz expressed concern over what he described as the forced takeover of Bahria Town assets. He alleged that several properties were being sold at prices far below their actual market value. He maintained that legal proceedings related to several properties and other actions are still pending before the relevant courts and forums. Despite this, he alleged that some Bahria Town assets were being taken over and sold before the legal disputes had been fully resolved. The Bahria Town founder also raised concerns over alleged threats against him and members of his family. He claimed that a person accused of threatening him and his family with serious consequences, including death threats, remains free. According to Riaz, an FIR was registered against the alleged individual. He also said that the matter later came before the High Court. However, he claimed that despite the FIR and court intervention, the accused person has not been taken into custody. Riaz urged senior officials to take notice of the situation. He asked them to review the actions being taken against Bahria Town and its properties. He warned that continued freezing, seizure and auction of the company’s assets could have wider economic consequences. The appeal also highlighted the potential impact on ongoing development projects. Riaz claimed that projects worth billions of rupees have been affected by the current situation. He argued that prolonged uncertainty could affect workers, contractors, investors and other parties associated with the projects. Riaz further alleged that the valuation of some assets did not reflect their actual market worth. He claimed that properties were being sold at unusually low prices. He called for the relevant legal procedures to be followed before any further action is taken against the company’s assets. The appeal comes amid ongoing legal and financial disputes involving Bahria Town and its properties. Riaz has asked the authorities to intervene and examine the allegations raised in his appeal.

Fuego volcano forces evacuations in Guatemala as l…

Guatemalan authorities have ordered residents in at least two villages to evacuate after the Fuego volcano erupted, sending lava and ash shooting into the air. Fuego, regarded as one of the most active volcanoes in the Western Hemisphere, began erupting on Monday. The country’s volcanic monitoring agency reported that pyroclastic flows, fast moving currents made up of hot gas, volcanic ash and rock fragments, continued rushing down the volcano’s south eastern slope into early Tuesday. Guatemala’s disaster management agency, known as Conred, raised a nationwide orange alert, the second highest level on its warning scale, and cautioned residents to remain prepared as further eruptions could generate additional pyroclastic flows and large ash clouds. The agency advised people living nearby to keep their doors and windows shut, and officials canceled classes at schools located close to the volcano. Fuego sits roughly 16 kilometers, or about 10 miles, west of Antigua, a city that draws large numbers of tourists each year for its well preserved colonial era architecture and status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The volcano itself has also become a popular destination for hikers in recent years, drawing visitors who trek its slopes for views of the surrounding region. Conred urged both tourists and local residents to avoid approaching the volcano or lingering in areas considered at risk, particularly along its slopes, as the situation continues to develop. The eruption has revived memories of a far deadlier event in 2018, when a sudden eruption of Fuego killed more than 200 people. Many of the victims were overtaken by fast moving pyroclastic flows that swept down the Las Lajas ravine with little warning, a disaster that remains one of the deadliest volcanic events in the country’s recent history. Fuego’s frequent activity has long made it one of Central America’s most closely monitored volcanoes, with authorities maintaining routine surveillance given its proximity to populated areas and popular tourist destinations.

Quaid’s Mazar chandelier restoration plan revive…

The restoration of the historic chandelier at Mazar-e-Quaid and measures to improve facilities for visitors were discussed at a meeting of the Quaid-e-Azam Mazar Management Board on Thursday. Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture and board chairman Aurangzeb Khan Khichi chaired the 102nd meeting, where officials reviewed several proposals concerning the preservation and management of the national monument. The meeting examined a proposal to restore the historic chandelier and subsequently shift it to the National Museum. Officials also discussed plans to introduce a shuttle service at Bagh-e-Quaid to provide visitors with easier access to the mausoleum. Khichi directed the National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK) to approach the restoration project as a matter of national heritage and service rather than treating it purely as a commercial undertaking. He said the historic chandelier had been removed from its original position in 2016. Its restoration has since faced repeated delays because of financial and administrative issues associated with the proposed project. The minister stressed the importance of preserving historical artefacts associated with the country’s founder and called for efforts to ensure that the restoration work moved forward without further unnecessary delays. The meeting also reviewed ways to improve the experience of people visiting Bagh-e-Quaid and the mausoleum. The proposed shuttle service is aimed at making transportation within the premises more convenient, particularly for visitors who may face difficulties covering the distance on foot. Khichi also acknowledged the cooperation extended by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to the Quaid-e-Azam Mazar Management Board. He said the provincial government’s support had contributed to the maintenance of Mazar-e-Quaid and helped the board manage its affairs in Karachi. The discussions underscored the need to protect the country’s historic heritage while upgrading facilities at one of Pakistan’s most important national landmarks.
