Gold nears record high as investors set sights on …

International gold prices could move back toward the $5,000-per-ounce level in the coming weeks as investors closely monitor inflation, US Federal Reserve policy and growing demand for safe-haven assets. Spot gold fell 0.5 percent to around $4,643 per ounce on Wednesday after reaching its highest level since mid-May earlier this week. Meanwhile US gold futures settled at approximately $4,700.70. Despite the slight decline, the recent rally has strengthened expectations that gold could make another attempt at the psychologically important $5,000 mark. The precious metal has benefited from renewed investor demand as market participants look for protection against economic and financial uncertainty. Market attention is now turning toward developments that could influence the direction of gold prices. Investors are particularly watching trade conditions in the Gulf and the impact of inflation on major economies and businesses. Another important catalyst will be a speech by US Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh on Friday. His comments could provide fresh clues about the central bank’s monetary policy outlook and potentially influence gold prices in the short term. Gold could also gain further support if concerns about the sustainability of US government finances increase. Rising concerns over government debt and fiscal stability can encourage investors to seek alternative stores of value including precious metals. With gold already trading close to record levels, several major market events could determine its next move. Inflation data and signals from the Federal Reserve are likely to remain among the most important factors for traders. If upcoming economic data strengthens expectations of easier monetary policy gold could regain upward momentum and move closer to the $5,000-per-ounce level in the near term. Lower interest rates generally make non-yielding assets such as gold more attractive to investors. At the same time continued geopolitical and economic uncertainty could further support demand for the precious metal. For now, traders will be watching the Federal Reserve’s signals inflation trends and broader market conditions closely. A combination of softer inflation and expectations of monetary easing could provide the catalyst needed for gold prices to resume their rally toward the closely watched $5,000 level.

Ed Sheeran shares the story behind KATSEYE’s ‘Animal’

Ed Sheeran has given fans a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of KATSEYE’s latest single, “Animal,” revealing how the collaboration began and the inspiration behind the song and its music video. The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter recently shared a studio recording in which he explained that the project started after he heard KATSEYE’s breakout hit, “Gnarly,” while traveling in Mexico. Impressed by the group’s sound and energy, Sheeran said he became an instant fan and reached out with the hope of writing a song for them. The studio clip shows Sheeran performing the chorus before the members recorded their vocals, offering a glimpse into the songwriting process. He explained that “Animal” is about the side of a person that only close friends or loved ones truly get to see. According to Sheeran, everyone has a bold, carefree version of themselves that comes alive when they feel completely comfortable, and the song encourages listeners to embrace that hidden confidence. That message is reflected throughout the official music video, which blends polished visuals with high-energy choreography. The members transition between refined, glamorous looks and more fearless performances, representing the contrast between the image people present to the world and the uninhibited version of themselves. The visual concept reinforces the song’s themes of confidence, freedom and self-expression. The music video also features a special cameo from actress Demi Moore, who helps introduce the story before the group fully embraces their “animal” personas. Her appearance adds a dramatic element to the narrative, leading into the video’s vibrant dance sequences and striking visuals. Sheeran’s collaboration with KATSEYE highlights his admiration for the rising global group. Rather than being approached to write the track, he revealed that his interest stemmed from genuinely enjoying their music and wanting to contribute to their next chapter. By combining Sheeran’s songwriting with KATSEYE’s powerful vocals and performance style, “Animal” showcases the group’s evolving artistry while giving fans a rare look at the creative journey that transformed an idea in the studio into one of their latest releases. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DbV6A–iZhj/?igsh=azZ0cTB2ZGlvdGIx

Hania Aamir shares heartfelt Independence Day mess…

Pakistani actress Hania Aamir has shared a heartfelt message for the country on Independence Day, wishing Pakistan a happy birthday while expressing a deeply personal hope for its future. As Pakistan marks its 79th Independence Day, the Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum star took a moment to reflect on what freedom should mean for the people living in the country. While holding the national flag, Hania shared a message that focused not only on celebrating Pakistan but also on the safety and well-being of its children. “Happy birthday, Pakistan. I hope one day all your children can feel safe here,” Hania said in her Independence Day message. Her words quickly attracted attention online, with many people praising the actress for highlighting an important issue alongside the celebrations. (Instagram) Rather than focusing solely on patriotic celebrations, Hania’s message carried a quieter and more thoughtful tone. Her wish for children to feel safe reflects a broader desire for peace, security and a better future for the younger generation. For many Pakistanis, Independence Day is a time to celebrate the country’s history and remember the sacrifices made during the struggle for independence. However, Hania’s message encouraged people to think about what the future of the country should look like for its youngest citizens. Children are often considered the future of any nation. Their ability to grow, study and build their lives in a safe environment is an important part of a country’s progress. Hania’s simple message therefore resonated with people who share the hope of seeing a more peaceful Pakistan. The actress has frequently used her social media presence to connect with her millions of followers and speak about issues close to her heart. Her latest Independence Day message continued that approach, combining a traditional birthday wish for Pakistan with a hopeful thought about the country’s future. Social media users responded to the message by praising its sincerity. Several posts sharing Hania’s words described her wish as a reminder that true freedom should include safety and peace for everyone, particularly children. (Facebook) Hania’s message ultimately offered a different kind of Independence Day reflection. While flags, celebrations and patriotic songs remain an important part of August 14, her words focused on a hope that goes beyond a single day. Her wish is simple: a Pakistan where every child can grow up without fear and feel secure in the place they call home. As the country celebrates another year of independence, Hania’s message serves as a reminder that building a safer and more peaceful future is an important part of the meaning of freedom.
