Pattaya City Holds Orientation for 47 New Contract Employees

Pattaya, August 3rd, 2026 – Pattaya City Mayor Mr. Poramese Ngamphichet led the opening ceremony of an orientation and motivational session for newly hired contract employees at the Thapphraya Meeting Room, Pattaya City Hall. Senior executives, heads of government agencies, relevant officials, and the new employees attended the event.

Pattaya City had recently opened recruitment for 100 contract employee positions. A total of 90 people applied, of whom 63 passed the selection process. In the first round, 47 candidates reported for duty and began work on August 3rd, 2026.

The Personnel Division, through its Recruitment and Appointment Section, organized the orientation to equip the new contract staff with knowledge and understanding of their roles, responsibilities, official regulations and discipline, work guidelines, rights and welfare benefits, as well as Pattaya City’s administrative policies.

In his address, Mayor Poramese Ngamphichet congratulated all the new employees. He said that Pattaya City is a special form of local administrative organization with important missions to serve both residents and tourists. Therefore, it relies on personnel who possess knowledge, capability, and a strong sense of public service. Although contract employees form a vital workforce in each department, every position plays a role in driving Pattaya City’s missions toward efficient achievement of its goals.

The mayor also advised the new staff to uphold discipline, perform their duties with honesty and integrity, take responsibility, work diligently and patiently, show kindness to colleagues, and always prioritize the public interest. Together, he said, they can develop Pattaya into a high-quality city and continuously build public confidence in its services.

This orientation is part of Pattaya City’s commitment to developing its personnel’s potential from the very first day of work. It seeks to instill an organizational culture based on good governance, transparency, service from the heart, and work for the highest benefit of the people, leading to elevated service quality and the sustainable development of Pattaya City.
