Allah Rakha’s family urges Sohail Ahmed to respe…

Lahore: The family of late Pakistani comedian Allah Rakha, popularly known as Allah Rakha Pepsi, has appealed to veteran actor and comedian Sohail Ahmed to refrain from making personal remarks about the late entertainer, saying such comments have caused them pain.

In a recent interview, Allah Rakha’s daughters expressed disappointment over Sohail Ahmed’s public statements, urging him to respect their father’s memory. One of his daughters recalled that her father had introduced Sohail Ahmed to the family as someone they should regard like an uncle, making the recent remarks especially hurtful.

She requested that their family’s dignity be respected and asked that her father’s name not be dragged into public discussions. She added that Allah Rakha had faced many hardships during his lifetime and deserved to rest in peace after his passing.

The response came after Sohail Ahmed praised Allah Rakha as a talented performer but also spoke publicly about the circumstances surrounding his death, claiming the comedian suffered a heart attack while filming and was under emotional stress due to concerns about his daughter’s divorce.

Allah Rakha Pepsi passed away last month after suffering a heart attack during a shooting session, leaving behind a legacy as one of Pakistan’s beloved comedians.

Water level rises in the Chenab river, flooding se…

The Irrigation Department has reported a significant increase in the water flow of the Chenab River, raising concerns about flooding in nearby riverine areas. According to officials, the rising water level has already affected several low-lying settlements, forcing floodwater into residential and agricultural areas and creating difficulties for local communities. The department stated that the increase in the river’s discharge has caused water to spread into nearby villages located along the banks of the Chenab River. As a result, a protective embankment known as the Zamindara Bund in Jalalpur Pirwala Tehsil has been breached. The collapse of the embankment has allowed floodwater to move more rapidly into surrounding areas, increasing the risk to people, homes, livestock, and crops. According to the Irrigation Department, at least five villages have been submerged due to the rising floodwaters. Among the affected settlements are Basti Khuda Bakhsh, Basti Allah Rakha, and Basti Bakhsha, along with two other nearby villages. Residents in these areas are facing severe challenges as water continues to enter homes, farmland, and local roads. Many families are concerned about the safety of their property and the possibility of further flooding if water levels continue to rise. Officials have also reported that water levels have increased in the surroundings of Head Muhammad Wala Road and near Qasim Bela. These areas are being closely monitored as authorities assess the situation and evaluate the potential for additional flooding. The rise in water has affected transportation routes, making travel difficult for residents and increasing the need for precautionary measures. The Irrigation Department is keeping a close watch on the river’s flow and is expected to continue monitoring the situation in coordination with local administration and disaster management authorities. Residents living in vulnerable riverine areas have been advised to remain alert and follow official instructions. If water levels continue to increase, further evacuations and emergency measures may become necessary to ensure public safety. Flooding in the Chenab River region is a recurring challenge during the monsoon season, particularly when heavy rainfall upstream leads to a sudden increase in river discharge. Breaches in protective embankments can significantly worsen the situation by allowing water to spread rapidly into populated areas. Such incidents often result in damage to homes, agricultural land, and infrastructure, while also disrupting daily life and economic activities. Local authorities are expected to assess the extent of the damage once water levels stabilize. Relief efforts may include providing temporary shelter, food, clean drinking water, and medical assistance to affected families. The government and emergency response agencies are likely to continue monitoring weather conditions and river flows to reduce further risks. The situation remains under observation, and officials have urged residents in flood-prone areas to stay informed through official updates and cooperate with emergency responders. Authorities are working to minimize the impact of the flooding and ensure the safety of communities living along the Chenab River.

Margaret Qualley, Jack Antonoff not ready to give …

Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff have reportedly decided that their relationship has reached its end, with new reports suggesting the former couple has no plans to reconcile following their recent separation. After nearly three years of marriage, the actress and music producer are said to be moving forward with their lives while continuing to treat one another with kindness and respect. Although their split has saddened fans, sources insist the breakup remains amicable and free from the drama often associated with celebrity relationships.  According to multiple reports, an insider revealed that Qualley and Antonoff have “no plans to reconcile.” While they remain in contact and continue communicating respectfully, both have accepted that their romantic journey together has come to an end. The source added that the pair are handling the separation with maturity, focusing on compassion rather than conflict as they navigate this new chapter.  The couple’s split first became public earlier this month, nearly three years after they tied the knot in an intimate New Jersey wedding in August 2023. They began dating in 2021, quickly becoming one of Hollywood’s most admired couples before getting engaged in 2022. Rumors of trouble intensified after Antonoff attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding without Qualley, while fans also noticed that the actress had quietly removed several wedding-related photos from her social media accounts.  Despite widespread speculation, representatives for Qualley have strongly denied rumors that infidelity or trust issues played any role in the separation. In an official statement, her spokesperson emphasized that reports suggesting betrayal were “categorically untrue” and stressed that the relationship ended with mutual respect and care. The statement also urged the public to avoid believing anonymous rumors and to respect the former couple’s privacy during this difficult period.  Both stars now appear focused on their respective careers. Qualley has returned to filming Possession, a remake of the acclaimed 1981 psychological horror film, marking her first public appearance since the breakup. Meanwhile, Antonoff has resumed his daily routine and continues working on music projects with his band Bleachers. Reports also note that the band has quietly removed the song “Margaret,” originally written in honor of Qualley, from its current tour setlist.  Although the end of their marriage has disappointed many fans, insiders insist there is no lingering bitterness between the two. Instead, both are choosing to move forward with grace while supporting each other’s personal and professional futures. Their respectful approach serves as a reminder that not every high-profile breakup is defined by conflict or controversy.  For now, Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff appear committed to separate paths. While they are not expected to give their romance another chance, they remain determined to preserve the mutual admiration and kindness that once formed the foundation of their relationship. As they focus on new opportunities and fresh beginnings, fans will undoubtedly continue cheering for both stars in the next chapters of their lives.

Blake Lively has shared a heartfelt message following the tragic death of Hayden Panettiere, while also remembering her late friend and former co-star Michelle Trachtenberg. The actress used the emotional moment to encourage people to show more kindness and compassion toward one another. Lively shared a video on her Instagram Stories featuring scenes from the 2005 Disney movie Ice Princess. The film starred both Panettiere and Trachtenberg, who played rivals before their characters ultimately became friends. Lively appeared alongside both actresses in the movie, making the footage an especially meaningful reminder of their connection.  Alongside the video, Lively expressed gratitude for the joy the two women had brought to audiences. She also urged her followers to “be kind,” highlighting the importance of remembering that people may be dealing with private struggles that others cannot see.  Panettiere died on August 16, 2026, at the age of 36. The actress was known for major roles in Heroes, Nashville and the Scream franchise. Her family described her as a “force of nature” who brought immense love and joy to those around her.  Her death has prompted an outpouring of grief from friends and former co-stars. Connie Britton, Viola Davis, Selma Blair and several other stars have shared memories of Panettiere, remembering her talent, warmth and determination.  For Lively, the loss also carried echoes of another heartbreaking Hollywood tragedy. Michelle Trachtenberg, who worked with Lively on Gossip Girl, died in February 2025 at the age of 39. Lively previously paid tribute to Trachtenberg, describing her as a deeply kind and fiercely loyal person whose presence could immediately change the energy in a room.  Trachtenberg’s death was later determined to have resulted from complications of diabetes. Her passing deeply affected the Gossip Girl cast, with Lively among those who publicly remembered her.  By placing Panettiere and Trachtenberg together in her latest tribute, Lively appeared to reflect on the fragility of life and the importance of appreciating people while they are still here. Her message comes at a difficult time for Panettiere’s loved ones and fans. The actress had recently opened up about her life and struggles in her memoir, This Is Me: A Reckoning, giving audiences a more personal understanding of the experiences behind her public image.  Lively’s tribute ultimately focused less on celebrity and more on humanity. Her call for kindness serves as a reminder that compassion can matter deeply, especially when someone’s private struggles are not visible to the outside world.
