MANILA, Philippines – President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will present his administration’s accomplishments, plans, and priorities in his fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday, July 27.

The address comes at a critical time for the government, set against the backdrop of the impeachment trial of Vice President Sara Duterte, investigations into the multi-billion flood control corruption scandal, and the House’s push for an anti-political dynasty law. The speech and the opening of the regular session of Congress are scheduled to begin at 4 pm Manila time.
