Hua Hin Heroes Charity Golf Cup 2026 raises 2.1 million baht for local schools
The Heroes Hua Hin Foundation, widely known as Hua Hin Heroes, brought together community leaders, businesses and supporters at the Hua Hin Heroes Charity Golf Cup 2026, united by a shared goal of improving opportunities for children in Hua Hin and across Prachuap Khiri Khan.
Built on the belief that education, health and nutrition form the foundation of lifelong opportunity, the foundation supports under-resourced schools and vulnerable families through classroom construction, IT learning centres, facility upgrades and wellbeing initiatives. The organisation is led by President Adam Clark and Vice President Ploypailin Sakdaphetsiri, with a focus on transparency and sustainable impact.
This year’s event, which took place at Pineapple Valley Golf Club on 7 February, raised 2.1 million baht to fund development projects at Chonprathan Pran Buri School (Wang Pla Branch) and Anan School in Prachuap Khiri Khan. The funds will improve learning environments and strengthen essential facilities for students and teachers.
A highlight of the evening came when Orchid Palm Homes, the foundation’s principal sponsor since its inception, increased the fundraising total on stage from 1.7 million baht to 2.1 million baht, reflecting the strong backing the initiative continues to receive from the local community.
The event was supported by a number of main sponsors, including Orchid Palm Homes, Misthos Group, Knectd LLC, RL360, TARA Aluminium and TK & Partners, alongside a wide network of local and international businesses that contributed to the day’s success.
Founded three years ago by Adam Clark, Ploypailin Sakdaphetsiri and Henrik Fagersson, the foundation operates with an all-volunteer team, donated office space and minimal overheads to ensure funds go directly to children and schools in need. To date, it has raised nearly 6.8 million baht, rebuilt three schools, planned two more for 2026 and helped rehouse more than 100 families displaced by the 2024 northern Thailand floods.
Special recognition was given to team members Amarita Thatdee, Patrik Wagner, Dante Deleu, Stefanie Huysman, Dieter Strack, Phil Lawrence and Narongsak Pongsiriyakul, whose work behind the scenes continues to support the foundation’s projects and long-term mission.
Looking ahead, the foundation aims to establish an apprenticeship training and hospitality academy in Prachuap Khiri Khan within the next three to five years, creating pathways from education into skilled employment in Thailand’s hospitality sector.
The foundation expressed its gratitude to all sponsors, donors, volunteers and participants who contributed to the success of the event.
