200 join Harvest Wine Run at Monsoon Valley Vineyard
Around 200 people took part in the Harvest Wine Run at Monsoon Valley Vineyard on Saturday (7 March), combining a fun run with wine tasting, harvest activities and food from local producers.
Participants could choose from three distances — 3km, 5km or 10km — running through the vineyard landscape while sampling Monsoon Valley wines.
The event was designed to bring together the local community, wine lovers and fitness enthusiasts in a relaxed setting.
The run began at 4pm following registration and bib collection earlier in the afternoon. The event was limited to 200 participants and was fully booked.
Harvest Wine Run blends fitness, wine and community

In addition to the run itself, the festival included a range of harvest-themed activities. Participants were invited to try grape picking, grape stomping and wine blending.
Food stalls and artisan vendors also formed part of the event. Local favourites such as Baan Fostier, Village Vittles, Bello Dolce and La Casa del Churro Hua Hin offered a variety of food and desserts, while Monsoon Valley provided a barbecue buffet. Soap Me supplied natural electrolyte drinks, Be Well Medical Center offered free blood pressure checks for attendees and DJ Deejai from House of Koon brought the tunes.
The event was also pet friendly, with many participants bringing dogs along to walk or run the route on a leash.
Organiser Punyisa Chalauysophon said the aim of the Harvest Wine Run was to create an event that highlighted Hua Hin while bringing people together.
“I wanted to create an event that shows the beauty of Hua Hin and combines fitness and fun so people of all ages can enjoy it together,” she said. “It was wonderful to see the community come together and to showcase some of the artisan products we have here.”
She also thanked the event’s sponsors and partners, including Orchid Palm Homes and the team at Monsoon Valley Vineyard.
“Thank you to all the sponsors who supported the event, especially Orchid Palm Homes and the Monsoon Valley team. We are already looking forward to welcoming everyone again next year,” she said.
The Harvest Wine Run Festival is expected to return to Monsoon Valley Vineyard next year as part of the local events calendar.
