Hua Hin launches citywide water meter survey
Hua Hin City Municipality’s Waterworks Division has launched a citywide survey to update customer water meter records and improve the efficiency of meter-reading routes.
The project began on 16 July and will continue until 13 September 2026. During this period, a contractor’s survey team will visit water meters throughout the municipality to verify customer information, record GPS coordinates, take photographs and update the municipal database.
The survey will also identify meters located inside private properties or in places that are difficult to access. The information may later be used to plan the relocation of those meters to more accessible locations outside buildings or at the front of properties.
Officials said the work is intended to improve the accuracy of meter readings and water bills, while making future inspections more efficient.
Residents are asked to cooperate with survey teams and provide access where necessary. Further information is available from the Waterworks Division on 032 511 667 or 032 511 677.
