Hua Hin Motor Show 2026 opens with EV launches and promotions
The Hua Hin Motor Show 2026 opened on 1 April with a focus on new electric vehicles and promotional offers, as organisers aim to attract buyers and support the local automotive sector.
The event was officially opened by Suwat Liptapanlop at the Hua Hin Convention Center on the first floor of Blúport Hua Hin Resort Mall. The show runs until 6 April 2026.
Among those attending the opening were Sitthichai Sawat Saen, Hua Hin District Chief Supachai Krutdam, Isada Saovaros, Hua Hin Deputy Mayor Bussaba Choksuchat, Surarat Narongrit, President of the Upper Central Region Chamber of Commerce Group 2, Somchai Krajaejerm, President of the Prachuap Khiri Khan Tourism Industry Council, and Wajee Klomkliang, Managing Director of Blúport Hua Hin. Visitors gathered to view a range of vehicles from leading manufacturers, including newly launched models.
The Hua Hin Motor Show 2026 has been organised to provide an additional sales platform for dealers, allowing them to connect with buyers in an environment designed to support purchasing decisions. Organisers said the event also aims to stimulate business activity in the local automotive market and offer consumers a wider selection of vehicles.
Electric vehicles and promotions highlight Hua Hin Motor Show 2026
The event has been timed to coincide with the Bangkok International Motor Show 2026, allowing visitors in Hua Hin to access similar promotions without travelling to the capital.
A total of 12 major automotive and motorcycle brands are taking part, showcasing new electric vehicles, updated car models, and both electric and petrol-powered motorcycles. Promotional campaigns are being offered across a range of models, targeting both first-time buyers and those considering switching to electric vehicles.
In addition to vehicle displays, a booth operated by the Provincial Electricity Authority is providing information on electric vehicle use. Visitors can learn about safe and cost-effective charging, home charger installation, and how to use the EGAT EV application to locate charging stations. Guidance is also being provided on battery management to help extend lifespan and reduce safety risks.
The Hua Hin Motor Show 2026 is expected to attract strong interest from residents and visitors during the early April period, particularly as interest in electric vehicles continues to grow across Thailand.
