Thap Sakae to hold Songkran Na Hu Kwang Festival 2026
Thap Sakae will host the Na Hu Kwang Festival 2026 during the Songkran holiday, with organisers aiming to boost tourism and local economic activity through a two-day beachfront event centred around light installations and live entertainment.
The festival was formally announced on 30 March 2026 at Laem Kum Beach in Na Hu Kwang subdistrict. The press conference was chaired by Sarawut Limarunrak, President of the Prachuap Khiri Khan Provincial Administrative Organisation.
He was joined by Monchai Nusai, Isada Saovaros, along with other provincial and local officials. The event included a joint signing ceremony to confirm cooperation between the Prachuap Khiri Khan Provincial Administrative Organisation, the Na Hu Kwang Subdistrict Administrative Organisation and the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
The Na Hu Kwang Festival 2026 will take place on 14–15 April at Laem Kum Beach under the theme “Magical Lighting Fantasy”. Officials said the event is intended to attract visitors to Thap Sakae while adding to the programme of Songkran activities across the province.

A central feature of the Na Hu Kwang Festival 2026 will be a “glowing underwater tunnel”, designed as a new visual landmark for the beach. The installation will create an immersive environment inspired by an undersea setting, with lighting, sound and visual effects aimed at enhancing the evening atmosphere.
Visitors will be able to take 360-degree photographs within the installation, which organisers say is intended to appeal to both residents and domestic tourists travelling during the Songkran period.
Live entertainment is also scheduled, including performances by Ae La-Ong-Fong and Iam Kluea on the evening of 15 April. Additional activities will include food stalls, music performances and designated photo areas along the beachfront.
Organisers said the Na Hu Kwang Festival 2026 is expected to draw visitors from across Prachuap Khiri Khan and neighbouring provinces, contributing to increased tourism spending during the holiday period.
Residents and visitors are invited to attend the event and experience the illuminated beachfront setting over the two-day festival.
