Nine-day cultural event set for old Hua Hin Railway Station
9 day cultural tourism event to place at old Hua Hin Railway Station in August
A nine-day Hua Hin cultural tourism event will be held at the old Hua Hin Railway Station from 10 to 18 August, showcasing the art, culture and historical identity of Prachuap Khiri Khan.
The event, titled “Under the Royal Patronage: Discover Si Khiri Khan”, is being organised by the Prachuap Khiri Khan Provincial Tourism and Sports Office as part of a project to promote tourism, local products and tourism-related services.
Its main focus will be the development and promotion of historical tourism in the province, with activities intended to introduce visitors to local arts and cultural traditions.

Hua Hin Municipality is helping prepare the venue and has been assigned responsibility for the main stage, entrance arch and lighting around the entrance to the event.
Preparations were discussed during an online meeting attended by Deputy Mayor Bussaba Choksuchart, Kwanruen Suphon, head of the Tourism Division, and Paphonphop Duangkaew, head of tourism support at the municipality’s Tourism and Sports Department.
Officials also discussed decorations, visitor facilities and other arrangements intended to ensure the event runs smoothly.
The Hua Hin cultural tourism event will take place in the old station building, one of the city’s best-known historical landmarks.
Further details about the programme and activities have not yet been announced.
