“The DeKalb Lumberjack. It’s a workbench disguised as the most honest single cab pickup truck ever produced.
DeKalb’s Lumberjack was a huge hit with lumbermen, and the company followed it up with the stretched Lumber King.
We even sold a Lumber King-bodied P35 back in 2022!

A street-legal version of the McMurtry Spéirling may be up in the air, but the track-spec Spéirling Pure is up for grabs!

Welcome to the BaT Question of the Week! For those unfamiliar, here are the rules: we ask an automotive-themed question, and the author of our favorite answer from the comments is awarded a $25 credit to the BaT Gear Store.
Our question this week is: What’s your favorite single-seater road car of all time?
Car enthusiasts are a communal bunch, but even the most social among us can appreciate the merits of driving solo, whether it’s for speed, practicality, or simply getting around a crowded city. One automaker even removed the passenger and rear seats from a particular car, then offered to sell them back to you for a dollar each (not-so-subtle hint: it was the Dodge Demon).
We’ll spare the examples lest we spoil the conversation. Our only stipulation here is that your nomination be a road car. With that, we turn it over to you:
