The Ferrari Fall Festival features a forthcoming phalanx of fine Ferraris found by four-wheel fanatic @Wob. Alliteration aside, let’s just say that we are quite excited to present this tidy group of 10 Modenese exotics, a selection of well-preserved, low-mile classics and unique special edition cars manufactured between 1979 and 2025.
When @mbaum and @bronson asked us to help sponsor the third iteration of their now-annual Italian car show in Los Angeles, Macchinissima, we were happy to oblige. A few lucky staffers were able to make it out for the festivities and brought back glowing reports. This collection of 11 cars and one truck comes to us courtesy of longtime BaT seller Private Collection Motors, who is representing them on behalf of the estate of F_Tundra. All but two are BaT alumni, and together make up but a fraction of the 58 auctions that F_Tundra won here in his nine years as a BaT member. This eclectic group of vehicles includes models from Germany, Italy, the UK, and the US covering the years 1954 to 2000. As part of the collection, some have sat idle and may be in need of sorting—we’ll note that in the individual listings where applicable. F_Tundra will certainly be missed, but we’re honored that the seller has brought this selection of cars back to rehome them with other members of the BaT community by selling them at no reserve.
BaT power seller @Wob consistently wows the BaT crowd with his incredible variety of vehicles and top-notch presentation. Following the success of his marque-focused Ferrari Fall Festival and Weissach Winter Wonderland collections, he’s back with a tidy package of seven Lamborghinis, just in time for the spring thaw. This bouquet of Bolognese beauties focuses primarily on scissor-door models from the 1980s forward, but also includes a rare alloy-body 350 GT from the company’s first-ever run of production vehicles. We’re calling it the Lambo Combo Collection, and the auctions are currently going live!
Over the years, Porsche has more or less laid claim to the term “rennsport,” but it simply refers to motorsport or “racing sport” in their native German. The Rennsport Collection, represented by BaT Local Partner Group C Curation, reappropriates the term in that broader sense, as it features eight late-model sports cars from one owner and his immediate family, all of which are inspired by racing in the grand European tradition. Porsches are not underrepresented, as they comprise more than half of the collection, and the pair of Ferraris and the Ford GT are models that squared off with contemporary 911s in various racing series.
Prancing horses at the racetrack are nothing new, but the era of “drive your 250 SWB to the track, race it in anger, and then drive it home again” is long gone. Over the last several decades, racing has become a sophisticated and specialized pursuit requiring sophisticated and specialized machines. In the last 20 or so years, Ferrari—never one to leave their racing heritage unmentioned—started offering track-focused versions of their volume models for special clientele.
